Zoe Tay to perform calligraphy at SPD Charity Show 2009 (Xin.sg )
Channel U will be organizing an upcoming charity show in December for the Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD). This charity programme was first organized by Channel 8 in 2007 and managed to successfully raise a total of S$3.85 million. The show's organizers are gunning to raise S$2.8 million this year.

Chinese actor Chan Hung Lit, 66, dies after a heart attack (Xin.sg )
Veteran Chinese TVB actor, Chan Hung Lit, died last Tuesday evening at the emergency ward of the hospital. The 66-year-old previously complained of having chest pains while waiting for his turn to film an episode of Off Pedder. Shortly after his complaints, he fell into a coma and was immediately brought to the hospital via an ambulance.

Dubbed as 'Wong Jing's latest lady', Jennifer Tse, the younger sister of Hong Kong actor-singer Nicholas Tse, officially made her debut into the entertainment industry and inked a contract with renowned Hong Kong director-producer a few days ago. Her parents Patrick Tse and Deborah Lee, along with Lydia Sum's daughter Joyce Cheng, radio DJ Cha Xiao Xin, Chen Bai Xiang were present at the event to rally support for her.

Malaysian singer-composer, Wu Jiahui, released his first music album, titled Although I'm Willing, in both Malaysia and Singapore one-and-a-half years ago. He received praises and compliments for his brilliant compositions and unique voice. Last month, he flew to Taiwan to film a music video for his upcoming new album, had dance lessons, and held a few live performances in the country.
