What I loved most: The beginnning of the movie

What I really hated: Lenghty and the killer looked so stupid

I cut it short for you. Do not waste your time going for Zodiac. If you like serial killer movies, i would recommend Silence of The Lamb, Bone Collector.. This movie is draggy and boring towards the end. This killer boasts to be so intelligent but when he appear in one of the scene, you will change your perception. What is that?

What I really hated: zodiac is not caught

Zodiac is protrayed in a way silent, deep depth, and loyal, bind tighting around the serial killer and the men after him. Indeed, soon they themselves found their lives being sucked into his life. They grew a strange obession, some could called it perserverance to track this man down especially the cartoonist who rather risked his family's safety to track this man which was none of his responsibility at all. There was this reality feeling, some adult humor and the grim stony charisma of the men. great acting. Great film filmed in the most esquisite and detailed form

Based on true events always makes a movie more intriguing. Being a peusdo-biography of sorts, one would expect some boring parts. Therefore the director's dilemma. Does he spice things up for the box-office or just keep the facts straight to the case? I kept wondering how many of the scenes or situations actually did take place in real life. The "killings" were just brutal and worth catching. This movie does not and will not provide you with the answers. The audience have to believe who they choose to believe is the killer. So naturally think many would be upset with the ambiguity of the movie's ending. Since based on real life, I only hope the actors did justice to the characters in the real world. Not an exceptionally good movie (slightly lengthy), but still worth catching.

It was great in the beginning, the suspense and the brutality of how zodiac murdered his victims. However halfway through the storyline it changes its focus on the cartoonist who is obssessed to break the zodiac mystery and that is when the movie gets draggy. Overall, i felt that the movie is not worth watching if you are looking for actions or horror. Skip!!
