Worth a good laugh

I agree with tsip. Kate's character is so cool. What i don't like is Owen Wilson's role. He is so irritating. Is time to grow up old man!

Want a Laugh?

What I loved most: Kate Hudsons Character

What I really hated: Nothing

Kate hudson is absolutely adorable in this movie. You, Me & Dupree has a bit of Wedding Crashers and American Pie in it. During the movie, the people in the theatre were hilariously laughing at the funniest scenes. Whenever you see a neck tie you'll get a chuckle after you see this movie.

Get a life Owen!

What I loved most: Kate Hudson

Coming into the movie, i had high expectations mostly because of such high publicity for it and the ads made it look like it was going to be a hilarious movie. How wrong I was. I went with a friend and there was a funny ad during the previews and we laughed more at that than the actual movie. The locations, acting, direction, everything about the movie was great except for the actual story. It was flat, the "funny" bits got no laughs, well out of me anyway, the character Dupree, played by Owen Wilson, did a very good job trying to make the movie seem funny but the script was shocking anything that was meant to be funny was overused and it was bad in the first place so overall it was bad writing. I normally praise Owen Wilson for his acting, he is one of my favourites and Matt Dillon is also a great actor, Kate Hudson hasn't had a great run but she was a great actor in this film, it's a shame it was a bad movie. In my opinion I was very disappointed seeing it. I don't recommend it.
