What I really hated: Repetitive style of movie
This movie was generally okay. I liked how it teaches commoners that there's a solution to everything and family is important. The acting was generally okay, but the use of dummy phones was very obvious in this show. What I really disliked was that it was very similar to any other movie Jack Neo directed: the sequence and most other stuff are about the same. Overall it's a nice movie. I won't really judge it by the director's/actor's reputation but this movie really has some parts which it can improve on.

This movie was generally okay. I liked how it teaches commoners that there's a solution to everything and family is important. The acting was generally okay, but the use of dummy phones was very obvious in this show. BEST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF SINGAPORE
I walked into the cinama with low expectations from the movie, afterall, Singapore-made films are rarely top-notch. I was shocked to see the cinema 99.9% filled! The movie portrayed many real-life scenarios we face in society today like gambling, cyber bullying, poor up-bringing, loan-sharks runners etc. As a teenager, i could relate to some of the characters and my emotions were running wild. I walked into the cinama with low expectations from the movie, afterall, Singapore-made films are rarely top-notch. I was shocked to see the cinema 99.9% filled! The movie portrayed many real-life scenarios we face in society today like gambling, cyber bullying, poor up-bringing, loan-sharks runners etc. As a teenager, i could relate to some of the characters and my emotions were running wild. I laughed really hard at the Singapore jokes in the movie and cried a couple of times at parts which really touch a chord in my heart. The movie promoted a few very crucial values that many of us lack, one of which is appreciation towards our parents. My favourite part was the birth of a baby. I expected the baby to just "pop out" of his mother's tummy after just a few screams, but Jack made use of that intense and tear-jerking scene to depict how much our mothers would go through to bring us into the world. My two friends and I really enjoyed the movie. The rating of 2 stars is extremely under-rated. It deserves 4.5 stars! I would reccomend the movie to teens and parents. ENJOY!:)

Well Done jack Neo! This is a well directed movie for me. i guess it really catch all the important points happening in singapore and most importantly it is that this movie tell alots of things to all kind of singaporean by acting it out. it also create laugher and sadness when i was watching this movie. so keep up these kind of good production coming!

The movie also reminds us of the side effects of technology such as forgery of money (using colour printer), cyber bullying (using Youtube or Facebook) and social/school problems such as group bullying an individual etc. Excellent storyline with a jovial tone added to it, jia you!

The main characters are two rebellious teenagers studying in a low rank polytechnic, suffering from family problems; they creat trouble wherever they go. Now it wouldn't be a Jack Neo film unless it has stereotypes just lurking about these two teenagers, and so we have a businesswoman who neglects her children, a gambler who steals from his family, and a loan shark who uses the opportunity to approach troubled boys to do their dirty work.
Actors Shawn Lee and Joshua Ang (from Jack Neo's production of "I Not Stupid") play these teenagers, and they have come a long way since, giving some solid performances throughout the film with great on-screen chemistry. Hong Kong actor/singer Daniel Chan plays their hyper-concerned teacher, always butting in to keep the two teenagers from straying (remember any of our teachers doing that?). Yan Li Ming however played a woman driven by her career; she was by far the best cast, very entertaining and fresh to watch.
The jokes were outdated to say the least, but will undoubtedly appeal to the masses. The plot is pretty much the same, there is drama, there are tears, and with a snap of a finger, the characters can change to be the better. It is basically another Jack Neo signature film, nothing new for audiences to indulge in as what you can get on TV.
