Barcelona is the stunning place where the romantic adventure of Vicky (Rebecca Hall) and Cristina (Scarlett Johansson) are set. The two young Americans spend a summer in Spain and meet an artist (Javier Bardem) and his beautiful ex-wife (Penelope Cruz). Vicky is about to be married and Cristina is a sexually adventurous free spirit. When they all become amorously entangled, the results can only be chaotic.

What I loved most: Penelope Cruz
What I really hated: Lack of substance - which might not be a bad thing necessarily
A fun, breezy movie. There's not too much substance to it, true, but it's very entertaining nonetheless. Woody Allen recovers after the misstep that was "Cassandra's Dream". Penelope Cruz is fantastic; pity there's too little of her.
