Don't mind the NC16 rating, they do it for the sake of the youngsters, so they dun get disturbed by the boiling acid scene and the electrocution scene. However, that is only a paving stone for the plot, so get over it! Plot: The film opens in Mumbai in 2006 as Jamal Malik (Dev Patel), a former street child from the Juhu slums, is tortured by two policemen. Jamal has been a contestant on the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, hosted by Prem (Anil Kapoor). He has won Rs.10,000,000, and made it to the final question, for Rs. 20,000,000, scheduled for the next day. Kumar tells the police that he suspects Jamal is cheating.
The film is organised into two interweaving plots. In one, the police ask Jamal how he came to know the answer to the questions, and Jamal replies by recounting an incident in his life, told in flashbacks. In the other, the flashbacks tell the story of Jamal, his brother Salim (Madhur Mittal), and Latika (Rubina Ali).
The story of Jamal's life includes obtaining the autograph of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, and the death of his mother during anti-Muslim violence (rekindling memories of the 1993 anti-Muslim attacks in the Bombay slums).[7]
Salim and Jamal meet Latika, another street child from their slum, and Salim is reluctant to take her in, but Jamal suggests that she could be the "third musketeer" in the Alexandre Dumas novel, whose name they do not know.
The three are discovered by Maman (Ankur Vikal) while living in trash heaps. Maman is a gangster who pretends to run an orphanage in order to collect street children to beg money for him. Salim is groomed to become a part of Maman's operation, and is told to bring Jamal to Maman so he can be blinded by an acid attack, therefore increasing his income opportunities as a singing beggar. Salim warns Jamal to escape just in time, and they flee, jumping onto a departing train. Latika catches up and takes Salim's hand, but Salim purposely lets go, and she is recaptured by the gangsters.
The two boys make a living travelling on top of trains, selling goods, picking pockets, and cheating naíve tourists by pretending to be tour guides at the Taj Mahal. Jamal eventually insists that they return to Mumbai to find Latika. They discover that she has been raised by Maman to become a prostitute whose virginity is expected to fetch a high price. The brothers attempt to rescue her, and in the resulting conflict, Salim draws a gun and kills Maman. He later gets a job with Javed (Mahesh Manjrekar), Maman's rival crime lord. Salim returns to the hotel room where the three are staying, and orders Jamal to leave so that he can have sex with Latika. The shocked and furious Jamal attacks Salim, who then draws his gun and threatens to kill his brother. Latika intervenes and tells Jamal to leave.
Years later, Jamal is working as a "chai wallah" (tea server) at an Indian call centre. While covering for a co-worker, he searches the database for Salim and Latika, and succeeds in finding Salim - now a high-ranking lieutenant in Javed's organisation. When the brothers meet, Salim pleads for forgiveness when Jamal violently attacks him. Jamal then bluffs his way into Javed's residence, pretending initially to be a cook, and then a dishwasher. Jamal and Latika have an emotional reunion, but she rebuffs his advances and insists that he forget about her. Instead, Jamal confesses his love for her, and promises to wait for her every day at 5 o'clock at the CST station.
One day while Jamal is waiting, Latika attempts to rendezvous with him, but she is recaptured by Javed's men, led by Salim. One of the men slashes her cheek with a knife as Salim drives off with her in his car, leaving Jamal behind, furious and disappointed. He loses contact with Latika when Javed moves to another house, outside of Mumbai.
Jamal tries out for the popular game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, because he knows Latika watches it regularly. He makes it to the final question despite the hostile attitude of the host, who attempts to knock him off the rails by feeding him a wrong answer, only for Jamal to guess the correct one. At the end of the day, the host calls the police and Jamal is taken into custody, where he is tortured as the police attempt to learn how he, a simple "slumdog", could possibly know the answers to so many obscure questions.
While watching a tape of the show, question by question, Jamal tells his life story. The police inspector (Irrfan Khan) calls Jamal's explanation "bizarrely plausible" and, realising that he is not in it for the money, allows him to return to the show.
At Javed's safehouse, Latika watches the news coverage of Jamal's miraculous run on the show. Salim, in an effort to make amends for his past behaviour, gives Latika his phone and the keys to his car, and tells her to forgive him for what he has done and go to Jamal. Latika is afraid of Javed, but she nevertheless agrees. Salim fills a bathtub full of cash and sits in it, waiting for the death he knows will come when Javed discovers what he has done.
The last question asked of Jamal is to name the third musketeer in The Three Musketeers. When Jamal uses his last Phone-A-Friend lifeline to call Salim, Latika barely succeeds in answering the phone in time, and the two reconnect. She does not know the answer — the three friends never learned it — but she tells Jamal that she is safe, and (in unsubtitled Hindi) starts to say "God is with you", but the phone connection cuts off in the middle of her sentence. Jamal provides the correct answer (Aramis), and wins the grand prize.
Simultaneously, Javed discovers that Salim has helped Latika escape. He and his men break down the bathroom door, and Salim kills Javed, followed by Salim's death at the hand of Javed's men. With his dying breath, Salim gasps that God is great.
Later that night, Jamal and Latika meet at the railway station and share a kiss.
During the closing credits, the actors playing Jamal and Latika — along with hundreds of others, including the "younger versions" of the main cast — dance in the CST train station to the song "Jai Ho". Comments: Well, i must open the forum with a question: What are the chances of the occurrences in the film happening in real life? Never mind that, given that the slummy circumstances, it was interesting to see the lil' Chai wallah doing a most ironic thing: take part in a quiz of knowledge. The fact that he can barely manage the host's opening questions only heightens the suspense. But I LOVED IT! Rating: 5/5 (100%) Comments: A must watch for any living human! Acknowledgments: Wikipedia. Really appreciated the plot

The film is indeed different from the book. But don't let that deter u from watching the movie. It's still the best film i've watched in a while now... Plot: Matilda Wormwood (Mara Wilson) is a remarkably bright child, anxious to go to school to learn and read books. However, her gifts are unappreciated by her neglectful and unpleasant family. Her father, Harry (Danny DeVito), is a used-car salesman who sells overpriced faulty cars for unfair prices, while her mother Zinnia (Rhea Perlman) leaves Matilda home alone so she can play bingo. They encourage her to watch television like her brother (Brian Levinson) and send her to room simply for being smart. Hurt and mentally unchallenged, Matilda gets her revenge by playing pranks on her family.
Matilda is enrolled at Crunchem Hall Elementary School, where children are routinely terrorized by the brutish pricipal, Miss Agatha Trunchbull (Pam Ferris). Matilda's new friends, Hortensia (Kira Spencer Hesser) and Lavender (Kiami Davael), say Trunchbull's worst punishment is "the chokey", an Iron maiden-like closet with jagged edges lined with nails and shards of glass. When Matilda asks about the parent's reactions, Hortensia says that none of the children's parents believe them. To Matilda's relief, her teacher, Miss Jennifer Honey (Embeth Davidtz), is a kind and caring woman who loves her students. On her first day, Matilda amazes Miss Honey by solving a very complex multiplication problem in her head. Miss Honey attempts to appeal to Miss Trunchbull and Matilda's parents, but they refuse to listen.
When Trunchbull discovers the car Harry sold her is a wreck, she locks Matilda in the chokey and later wrongly accuses Matilda of putting a newt in her glass of water as revenge. Before Trunchbull can punish her, the glass tips over and the newt lands on the principal. After class ends, Matilda tells Miss Honey that she knocked the glass over with her eyes but is unable to repeat the act. While walking Matilda home, Miss Honey tells her a story of a young girl who lost her mother when she was only two. The mother's stepsister, Miss Trunchbull, moved in to look after the girl, but merely abused her. When the girl was five, her father, Mangus, apparently killed himself. Trunchbull presented the police with a will naming her the sole beneficiary of the house. The girl eventually bought a small cottage and moved out, but was forced to leave her possessions behind. Matilda recognizes Miss Honey's house as the cottage from her story, and realizes that the girl in Miss Honey's story is Miss Honey herself.
Matilda discovers she has developed telekinesis as a result of her unused brain power. After she gains control of her ability, Matilda decides to use it to teach Miss Trunchbull a lesson. On a windy night, Matilda frightens Miss Trunchbull by causing the lights to flicker, clock to change, and the windows fly open. She then rips Miss Trunchbull's portrait off the wall, throws it in the fireplace, and replaces it with that of Miss Honey's father. Convinced her house is haunted and that Magnus is a ghost, a terrified Miss Trunchbull runs out of the house to her car. She becomes suspicious when she notices Matilda's hair ribbon tangled around the car window lock.
The following day, Trunchbull confronts Matilda in class. Just as she begins to drag Matilda off to the chokey, Matilda uses her powers to levitate a piece of chalk and write a ghostly message on the blackboard. The message is supposedly from Magnus and accuses Trunchbull of killing him. Matilda then makes two blackboard erasers attack Miss Trunchbull, causing her to faint. After recovering, Miss Trunchbull begins to wildly attack the students. Matilda manages to protect them while flying Miss Trunchbull around the school. The other children chase their principal and pelt her with the contents of their lunch boxes. Miss Trunchbull flees from the school and is never seen or heard from ever again. Magnus's true will, which names Miss Honey as Magnus's real beneficiary, is found. Miss Honey moves back in and Matilda visits her frequently.
The authorities catch on to Harry's illegal dealings, forcing the Wormwoods to flee the country. When Matilda and Miss Honey protest, Zinnia and Harry agree to let Miss Honey adopt Matilda. Miss Honey is made the new principal of Crunchem Hall and Matilda uses her powers only for useful reasons. Matilda and Miss Honey both realize that they have finally gotten what they had always dreamed of - a loving family. Comments: I feel the film is rather Americanized and made to be more Hollywood like. Well, stop it... It's not gonna work. On that note, minus points. However, Mara Wilson brings life to and otherwise wimpy and i-wanna-side-with-her character. Danny Devito is a total pro at being the nutcase we all like to see. Plus points for that. All in all great. Rating: 4.5/5 (80%) Conclusion: Give it and award! Acknowledgments: Wikipedia. Thanks 4 the story.

Though Roger Moore made a somewhat respectable appearance, I'm still not convinced he's even half as good as Connery. Why?? The Man With The Golden Gun, that's why. Plot: The movie opens as Francisco Scaramanga, a professional assassin who charges a million dollars a kill, and his love slave, Andrea Anders, are relaxing on the beach of Scaramanga’s private island. Nick Nack, Scaramanga’s butler and assignment manager, meets with Rodney, an assassin who he hired to try and kill Scaramanga. Scaramanga and Nick Nack have agreed that Nick Nack will take control of Scaramanga’s island and all of his assets in the event of Scaramanga’s death. One of Nick Nack’s duties is to find assassins from around the world to try and kill Scaramanga in his island training room, which converts to a kind of funhouse, complete with mirror mazes and trick staircases. Unarmed, Scaramanga arrives in the training room and he and Rodney stalk each other. Scaramanga eventually gets to his Golden Gun, a gun made of 23 carat gold that can be disassembled into a fountain pen, cigarette lighter, and cigarette case. The Golden Gun can only carry a single round in the chamber, but Scaramanga is extremely skilled and enjoys the challenge of killing his targets with only one shot. Once he has the Golden Gun, he shoots Rodney in the head, killing him. We first meet Bond in M’soffice. M asks Bond what he knows about Scaramanga. Bond gives an extensive background on Scaramanga, chronicling his birth into a circus family, his work with the KGB, and his subsequent move to become the world’s leading independent assassin. Scaramanga’s identity or whereabouts are unknown, primarily because all of his contracts are negotiated through Nick Nack. Bond also reveals that Scaramanga has a superfluous third nipple. M tells Bond that he received a golden bullet with the number ‘007’ engraved in it. M is concerned that while Bond working on his current assignment, facilitating the defect of a scientist working for the Chinese on an alternative form of solar energy, Scaramanga will assassinate him, hence compromising the mission. M orders Bond to go on leave. Bond decides to try and find Scaramanga first, so that Bond has the advantage. Bond talks to Moneypenny and finds out that Scaramanga had killed another Double-O agent, Bill Fairbanks in 1969 at a cabaret in Beirut. Bond decides to begin his search for Scaramanga there.
Bond heads to the cabaret and finds the dancer with whom Fairbanks was last seen. After talking with her, Bond finds out that she wears the bullet that killed Fairbanks as a lucky charm made into belly button ring. As Bond is kissing her stomach, the bouncers from the cabaret enter the dancer’s dressing room and Bond accidentally swallows the luck charm. After returning to MI6 and getting the bullet out of his stomach, Q figures out who made the bullet, Lazar, a Portuguese munitioner living in Macau. Bond heads to Macau and convinces Lazar to let him accompany him when he delivers the bullets. Lazar goes to a local casino and deposits the bullets into one of the money collection baskets. Anders picks up the bullets and Bond follows her. They board a hydrofoil and head to Hong Kong but Bond loses her at the port. Bond meets up with Mary Goodnight, an assistant from MI6. They figure out that Anders is staying in the Peninsula Hotel. Bond enters Anders’ room and convinces her to tell him that Scaramnaga will be at the Bottom’s Up Club that night. Bond goes the club, and as he’s waiting outside, Scaramanga assassinates someone else, namely Gibson, the solar energy expert who wanted to defect from Bond’s postponed assignment. Bond is suspected of the murder and is taken into custody by Lieutenant Hip, who was escorting Gibson. As Hip is transporting Bond on a police boat, Bond escapes onto a partially sunken ship in the middle of Hong Kong harbor, which turns out to be MI6s secret base. It turns out that Hip was tasked with taking over Bond's previous assignment, and was meeting with Gibson to help facilitate his defection. According to Hip, when Gibson was in the club, he had in his possession the Solex Agitator, a device integral to the new solar technology. However, when Hip checked Gibson after Gibson was killed, the agitator was gone. Bond and Hip figure out that Scaramanga was hired by Hai Fat, a Chinese billionaire based out of Bangkok, Thailand. Bond surmises that because of Scaramanga’s history, Hai Fat never met Scaramanga, so Bond plans to impersonate Scaramnaga by having Q create a superfluous third nipple and meet with Hai Fat.
Bond goes to Hai Fat’s compound and is invited to come back later for dinner. It turns out that Scaramanga was already at Hai Fat’s compound and alerted him to Bond’s impersonation. Bond arrives at Hai Fat’s compund later that evening and is attacked by two Sumo wrestlers and knocked unconscious by Nick Nack. Bond awakens at Hai Fat’s martial arts training school and is forced to fight his best students. As Bond is escaping, Hip arrives with his nieces who are trained in martial arts, and they defeat Hai Fat’s students. In the excitement, Hip accidentally leaves Bond behind, but Bond escapes on one of the school’s boats.
Back at Hai Fat’s compound, Scaramanga kills Hai Fat and takes control of his assets, including the Solex Agitator, which he was hired by Hai Fat to steal from Gibson. Bond meets Goodnight for dinner and finds out that Hai Fat has disappeared. Bond returns to his room to find Goodnight waiting for him. As Bond and Goodnight go to bed together, Anders walks in. Bond tells Goodnight to hide in the closet. Anders tells Bond that she’s scared of Scaramanga and that she wants Bond to kill him. Bond agrees, if she’ll bring him the agitator. Two hours later, she leaves and bond gets Goodnight out of the closet.
The following day, Bond arrives at a kickboxing areana and meets Anders. He’s supposed to pick up the agitator. By the time he arrives, Anders has been killed. Bond searches her purse for the agitator but it’s not there. While he’s searching, Scaramanga sits down beside Bond and introduces himself. As bond and Scaramanga are talking, Bond glances down to see the agitator on the floor. He orders some peanuts from Hip, disguised as a peanut vendor, takes the nuts and slips the agitator to Hip. Hip gives the agitator to Goodnight and returns to help Bond. As Goodnight is calling the police, she sees Nick Nack leave the arena and follows him. As Goodnight is trying to plant a tracking bug on Nick Nack’s car, Scaramanga arrives and pushes her into the trunk. Bond calls Goodnight and she tells him that she’s locked in Scaramanga’s trunk. Bond steals anAMC Hornet and, with J.W. Pepper along for the ride, pursues Scaramanga. Scaramanga pulls into a garage and converts his car into the Flying Matador by attaching wings and an jet engine onto the car. As Bond arrives, Scaramanga escapes in the Matador. Bond returns to the MI6 base in Hong Kong harbor and informs M of the status of Goodnight, Scaramanga, and the agitator. They trace the homing device to an island off the coast of China. Bond departs for the island. Scaramanga gladly welcomes him and tells Bond of his admiration for him. Scaramanga has taken advantage of Hai Fat’s assets to make his island completely energy self-sufficient. Scaramanga’s plan is to sell this technology to the highest bidder. He’s also managed to develop a way to use the energy collected via the Solex Agitator to power a giant laser. He plans to sell this technology as well.
Scaramanga tells Bond that he wants to have a duel, pitting his Golden Gun against Bond’s PPK. As they pace off for the duel, Bond turns at twenty paces to find the Scaramanga has disappeared. Bond searches the island looking for Scaramanga. Nick Nack leads Bond to Scaramanga’s training room. Bond impersonates a statue of himself in the training room and kills Scaramanga. Goodnight knocks her guard into one of the liquid helium vats that facilitates the conversion of the collected solar energy into electricity. Because the vats must remain at a constant temperature, they begin to become unstable and cause a reaction that will quickly destroy the island. Bond and Goodnight find the agitator and escape the island on Scaramanga’s yacht, just before the island explodes. As Bond and Goodnight are sailing away, Nick Nack emerges from his hiding place aboard the yacht and begins to throw champagne bottles at Bond. Bond traps Nick Nack in a suitcase, and then ties him to the mast, saving the world, and yes, getting the girl. Comments: Scaramenga is ridiculous, as he acts like a little boy of 10. Mary Goodnight, (Ekland) is an idiot and I wonder How bond can tolerate that... And I hate the presence of Clifton James as J. W. Pepper. Rating: 2/5 (40%). Conclusion: Worst Bond film, hands down. Thanks to: James Bond Wiki.

Three words: funny, yet touching. It just has this amazin' feature i can relate 2 and till 2day i love. Watchin's it just makes me wanna cry my heart out at the Beauty and Wonder of it's GREATNESS. Nothing could be better. You see, from my point, i had stricter standards, but with Adam sandler, he saddled this movie through so well, it became more that just A movie. it became The movie to beat. Till today, no film has matched up [yet]. Plot: Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler) is a hotel leader who is promised as a child by his father Marty (Jonathan Pryce) to be the manager of the family hotel, but later it is bought by chain Nottingham Hotels. 25 years later, the new manager Mr. Nottingham (Richard Griffiths) plans to build a new hotel and appoints another man, the snotty Kendall (Guy Pearce) to become the manager, because he is dating his daughter. Skeeter's sister (Courteney Cox) asks him to watch her kids, because the school at which she is the principal is being closed and she is looking for a job in Arizona. The first night, Skeeter tells a bedtime story taking place in medieval times, with some additions from her kids. It comes true. Mr. Nottingham gives Skeeter a shot at the manager position when he says his new hotel theme was taken by Hard Rock Hotel and on his way home it rains gumballs, all from the story. The next night, at the hotel, he tells another story set in the Old West, and when he waits for it to come true, a man (Rob Schneider) steals his wallet. He saves Mr. Nottingham's daughter, Violet (Teresa Palmer), from the paparazzi and gets kicked by a dwarf (Mikey Post). The night after that, out on a campfire, he tells them about a Greek stunt man, and he ends up falling for his sister's friend and fellow colleague Jill (Keri Russell). The last night, he tells them about a space fight, and unfortunately makes the discovery, after he wins the gig of manager, that the closing school is where the new Nottingham Hotel will be. After being fired, which turned out to be the connection with the ending of the space story, he gets the hotel moved to Santa Monica, and then with Jill is able to end the demolition, saving the school and his nephew and niece and in turn gets his wallet and money back. Sometime later, he marries Jill and founds a hotel named after his late father. Kendall, for trying to destroy the School with Skeeter's nephew and niece isn't fired, instead he and his scheming partner Aspen (Lucy Lawless) are demoted to members of the hotel wait staff. Violet marries Skeeter's best friend Mickey (Russell Brand) giving him control of the Nottingham Empire, becoming the 9th richest man alive, in the meantime newlywed Skeeter and Jill have a baby.
Comments: Like i said, if one can find the kid in him, he will surely love this film till its very end. So for such as good movie, how can you decline? Rating: 4.5/5 Conclusion: Go ahead. Acknowledgment: Wikipedia Thnks

Here's the deal: Sean Connery is great, the girls are HOT, Tiger Tanaka is WAY COOL and blofeld is Way EVIL. MUAHAHAHAHA. Plot: An American spacecraft is hijacked from orbit by a carnivorous space craft; a similar fate befalls a Soviet spacecraft later on. With each country thinking that the other is the cause of their loss, the world is thrown to the brink of World War III. The United Kingdom's government, however, believes the spacecraft landed in the Sea of Japan. The British government suspects Japanese involvement.
The pre-title sequence depicted James Bond faking his murder in Hong Kong, allowing Bond more freedom to operate. He is sent to Japan to investigate the British suspicion, in conjunction with the Japanese secret service leader "Tiger" Tanaka. At a Tokyo sumo wrestling match Bond contacts Tanaka's assistant Aki, who takes him to meet with the local MI6 operative, Dikko Henderson. Henderson claims to have critical evidence for the rogue craft originating in Japan, but is murdered before he can reveal it. Bond kills the assailant and steals his identity. He is brought to their headquarters, which turns out to be Osato Chemicals. Once there, Bond breaks into an office safe of the Japanese corporate head, Mr. Osato, and steals some documents after triggering the alarm.
As Bond flees, Aki picks him up in her car. However, Bond becomes suspicious when she won't answer his questions and flees to a secluded area. When Bond chases her, he falls through a trapdoor and slides into Tanaka's office. After identifying each other, they examine Bond's documents. The main item of interest is a tourist photograph of a cargo ship called the Ning-Po and a microdot on it containing a message that operatives "liquidated" the tourist who took the photo as a security measure.
Interested in what was worth killing for in that photo, Bond investigates the company's dock facilities and discovers that the ship was delivering liquid oxygen, an oxidizer for rocket fuel; the document used the term LOX, which Bond states is an American name for smoked salmon, providing a convenient cover. Together, Bond and Tanaka learn that the true mastermind behind this is Osato's client Ernst Stavro Blofeld and his organization SPECTRE.
Preparing to investigate the island in the photo, Bond trains with Tanaka and his elite ninja force. Tanaka suggests that the best disguise for Bond is as a Japanese fisherman. Bond receives training in Japanese culture and stages marriage to Tanaka's student, Kissy Suzuki. After the spies learn from surveillance photos that the Ning-Po unloaded its cargo overnight at the island, Bond investigates the area in the air with Little Nellie, a heavily armed autogyro. While in mid-flight and having no luck finding the SPECTRE base, Bond is suddenly attacked by four mysterious armed helicopters, but he fights them off. While the helicopters obviously had to have been from SPECTRE and thus the base is in that general area, Bond and Tanaka still don't know the exact location.
o make matters worse, they learn that the United States has moved up their next space mission, which means it will likely be hijacked by SPECTRE and a world war will likely be triggered before they can stop the plot. However, they gain a major clue when Kissy mentions that a local woman had just mysteriously died after rowing her boat into a cave in the area where the aerial battle took place.
Bond and Kissy set out on a reconnaissance mission into that cave and discover that SPECTRE has a secret rocket base hidden in a hollow volcano. Bond slips in through the crater door, while Kissy returns to alert Tanaka. Bond locates and frees the captured Soviet and American astronauts. With their help, he steals a spacesuit in attempt to infiltrate the SPECTRE craft (code named "Bird One"). Before he can enter the craft however, he mis-handles the air conditioning unit of his suit, and is caught. Kissy has her own difficulties when she is sighted and attacked by SPECTRE guards in a helicopter, but she uses her considerable experience as a pearl diver to hide underwater long enough to trick her pursuers into thinking that she drowned. Bond is taken to Blofeld for interrogation, while Bird One is launched with the backup astronaut aboard.
Soon after, Kissy lead's Tanaka's troops to the crater entrance, but are detected and attacked by the crater's sentry guns. Meanwhile, the Bird One closes in on the American space capsule and US forces prepare to launch a nuclear attack on the USSR. In response, Bond asks for a cigarette, which conceals a small rocket. Killing the guard by the crater hatch controls, Bond manages to open the door allowing Tanaka's troops to storm the base. They soon overpower the henchman and the control room is evacuated. Bond notices the movement and advances to the control room, where there is a destruct switch for the spacecraft. After fighting Blofeld's bodyguard, Hans, Bond manages to get the destruct key from him and detonates Bird One, seconds before it reaches the American craft.
The US stands down after learning that their spacecraft is safe. Blofeld escapes along a secret passage. His last act before leaving is to activate the base's self-destruct system. Bond, Kissy, Tanaka, and the surviving ninjas swim out. Safe from the now erupting volcano, the survivors board air-dropped lifeboats. WOOOOOOO.
Comments: Only one thing I LOVE IT. This the original Blofeld, the EVIL guy we have been looking for in all of the series. So congrats. Rating: 4/5 Conclusion: RED HOT MAN....... Acknowledgments: Wikipedia....

Ok: This was my prob: Roger Moore is a comedian, not fit to be a James Bond actor. But thanks to Live and Let Die(1973) and and this film, my opinion of him has somewhat changed for the better. Plot: Ballistic missile submarines from the Royal Navy and the Soviet fleet are stolen in an attempt to launch their nuclear weapons at targets around the globe. Elsewhere in Austria, Bond escapes an ambush by Soviet agents, killing one of them in a downhill ski chase that concludes when he skis off a cliff and falls only to open a Union Flag parachute. On returning, Bond learns that someone is trying to sell the plans of a highly advanced submarine tracking system to the highest bidder. He travels to Egypt, where he is assisted by a sheik who was a fellow student at Cambridge. The following day, he attempts to contact the prospective seller near the pyramids and first encounters Major Anya Amasova of the Soviet Army (codename "Triple X"), who becomes a rival in his search for the plans. Together, they travel across Egypt tracking the microfilm plans to Luxor, and facing encounters with a 7 foot plus tall steel-toothed henchman Jaws along the way, and down the Nile River. Ultimately, they partner due to a truce supported by their respective superiors at Abu Simbel and identify the person behind all the thefts as Karl Stromberg, a shipping tycoon.
Bond and Amasova travel to Stromberg's base in Sardinia. In a train on their way, Bond saves Amasova as she is attacked by Stromberg's henchman, Jaws — finally, their rivalry changes into affection. Posing as a marine biologist and his wife, they visit Stromberg's base and discover that he has a mysterious new supertanker, the Liparus. After they leave the base, Jaws and other armed men, including a helicopter pilot named Naomi, chase them, but all attempts fail due to Bond's driving skills and the fact that his car – a Lotus Esprit from Q Branch – can convert into a submarine. Jaws retreats once again while Naomi and her other allies are killed. Some time later, Amasova learns Bond had killed her lover in Austria. She says that she will complete the mission with him, but kill him when it ends.
Assisted by an American submarine, Bond and Amasova examine Stromberg's Atlantis base and confirm that he is operating the tracking system. The submarine in which they then attempt to pursue the Liparus is captured by the supertanker. Stromberg begins to set his plan in motion; the launching of nuclear missiles from the previously captured submarines to destroy Moscow and New York City. This would trigger a global nuclear war, which Stromberg would outlive in his underwater hideout Atlantis, and subsequently a new civilisation would be established. Accordingly, he sets off to Atlantis, taking Amasova with him. Bond stealthily opens Stromberg's weapon store-room and in no time, a huge battle ensues aboard the Liparus between its crew and the captured British, Russian, and American naval crews. With the help of the American submarine captain Bond is able to reprogramme the British and Soviet submarines to launch their missiles on each other, saving Moscow and New York. The captured Naval personnel defeats Stromberg's crew and then sinks the Liparus.
Bond insists on a final confrontation with Stromberg and the rescue of Amasova before the navy has to follow its orders and destroy Atlantis. Bond prevents himself from falling into a shark's tank inside Atlantis and finally confronts Stromberg in a dining room. He shoots Stromberg from beneath the table, but soon encounters Jaws, symbolic of the earlier Bond films when there was a penultimate scene where one of the villian's underlings would attack Bond after the villian's death, symbolic of the neverending struggle. After a tough fight, Bond lifts Jaws using an electromagnet (which attracts Jaws' metal teeth), dropping him into a tank with a shark inside.
Bond fighting Jaws inside Atlantis.
Bond then reunites with Amasova and they step into an escape pod as Atlantis is sunk. Meanwhile, Jaws swims away from the sinking Atlantis as a dead shark floats in the water, showing Jaws has killed the shark and would serve a new villian and return to fight Bond. While the escape pod is floating, Amasova reminds Bond that she has vowed to kill him and picks up Bond's gun. But instead of shooting him, she fires at and opens a champagne bottle that he is holding. She admits having forgiven him and then, the two make love passionately. They are unknowingly picked up by the Royal Navy and their escape pod is opened in front of everyone, much to the consternation of their superiors, M and General Gogol. Comments: Ok, Jaws was good, but Karl Stromberg wasn't convincing as a baddie. That's All. Rating: 3.5/5(70%) Conclusion: Thank God for this... Acknowledgment: Wikipedia
