What I loved most: This Jason are more like a normal human being.
What I really hated: Jason will never die.
I watched Jason X, Jason vs Freddie, Jason goes to hell... I would say this latest Jason is not so gory and bloody compare with I watched the last time. But this Jason is rather horrible in the way he carry himself. Skin rashes, unshaved goatee, hair loss eeewww... This movie are nothing special if compare with other thriller such as Scream, I know what you did last summer, Haloween etc... Maybe all this kind of thriller is the same. The only thing I like in this movie is the process of the brave man who saves his sister. Not much people die in this movie... I think more or less 10 peoples. But they died at the hand of Jason in some unexpected style... Technology of visual effects helps a lot. Average movie I would say.
What I loved most: The scene which Neeson torture the Albanian who kidnap his daughter.
What I really hated: Everything runs too smooth for Neeson!!!
Nice story line. Even though the only A-lister for this movie is Neeson himself. I would say this is a good movie. This movie eventually will makes you think yourself as Neeson who try his very best to trace his daughter. YOU as Neeson on kick those bad people’s ass who involved. Well, I must say the director or the producer seems treat Neeson's character as indestructible. Try to think the Western version of Jackie Chan who is never dying and runs the show all the way like his earlier movie-Police story, Project A etc... Liam Neeson is the one.
What I loved most: Portrayal of heart and soul of Wolverine-Jackman deserve the credit
What I really hated: The appearance of Gambit
X Men origins... If you ask me on which character that I would look forward to watch if every character of X men made into a movie. Wolverine is my primary choice. Directed by Gavin Hood (Who?). I would prefer Bryan Singer who directed X Men movie series. I think Singer will portrait many other mutants beautifully. I rather like the cameo appearance by Cyclops and Prof X and super cameo appearance by Storm. Fighting scene between Weapon XI, Sabretooth and Wolverine are cool at the end of the movie. It's undeniable that this movie has put the centre of the heart on Wolverine. I think the director wants the audience to truly appreciate what, why, when, who, whatever about Wolverine. Other not so popular character such as Deadpool (The one later become Weapon XI), Kayla's sister-Frost who have a mighty diamond skin, Agent Zero bla bla bla really wasted. Well, for me it's good because it is something new to me. Talking about Gambit, well I just want to say it is really disappointed. The feature, voice, everything about Gambit is totally wrong. Anyway, hails the movie as it marks a really solid plot which I think it's not only the X Men origins: Wolverine. It is X Men: The Beginning. Enjoy the show.
A combination of The day the Earth stood still + Noah's Ark + Number 23 +Deep Impact.
The end of the world-The producer tries to make us understand that the Earth is getting vulnerable.
I still think something's wrong with the movie's plot. The producer should not have added the Alien into the movie. The alien have led the movie to Sci-Fi flick. If no alien, it would become an excellent thriller. The Alien act as Noah, tries to collect Homo sapiens to start in all over again in another location in the ending (I think it's kind of absurd).Their appearance in this movie can be optional.
Plane crash and train derailed scenes were fantastic. If the final end of the world scenes can be located in other major cities that would be cool as only New York been hit. I think it would be great if you catch it in the novel. If you like M. Night Shyamalan, recommended to watch the show.
What I really hated: The movies runs in a hurry and Bad ending
Caught it in PS today. I always enjoyed Jackie Chan's movie from his own production rather than Hollywood's.
The story plot were not bad at all. But the editing of the movie were so so. The movie runs like a mad cow actually eventhough it's 120 minutes show. Some of the scenes were like shorten to some few second fast look. Looking at the assassination of Japanese mob leaders by Jackie Chan. It was like watching Usain Bolt another world record attempt on 100 metres.
The ending of the movie were also bad. Questions have been raised on it. What happened to Yoko and her daughter? What happened to the mob society in Shinjuku after the battle where Japanese Mobs vs Jackie Chan vs Chinese gangs vs Police? The aftermath? Remains untold.
My favourite character in this movie were Inspector Kitano. But Daniel Wu were the one who shines. He deserves another Golden Horse Award for the role 'Ah Jie''. The behanded scene were really a good one.
Jackie Chan made a daring attempt as the story plot obviously shows the portrayal of illegal Chinese immigrants. It may have offended China. Eventually, no shows in China. It has been banned.
The movie obviously were violent. As bloody and brutal as Sweedney Todd. Great acting by Japanese and Chinese actors.
Enjoyed the show~~!!~~
What I loved most: The scene when Kobayashi shaving his late father's face
What I really hated: I keep on crying...
Before decided to go for this movie in Vivo, i have no idea who starring in the film, just knew that the film has been awarded with Oscar-Best Foreign Language film. OK. The male leading actor looks familiar. Now then i remember. He is the nut guy who singing with his head like a rock star in the Gatsby advertisement some years ago-Masahiro Motoki.
The story are about Kobayashi who move on to a new job and environment-An undertaker. The process has been rather hard for him... The acceptance of make up or touch a deceased, the temporary lost of his wfe, the grudge against his father and etc.
All the funeral scenes may touch our heart especially those viewers who encountered the lost of their love one. It's also clearly bring a message-Homo sepians are vulnerable and death of a person maybe another beginning for thier love one.... I can tell you that i keep on hearing 'running nose' sound at almost every corner during the show. Anyway, this is a very touching show that i would recommend for those who need to distress, cry out your heart!!!
