What I loved most: soft dewy subtle colours (very Japanese), great looking cast, muji-esque furniture..
This is a really sweet/sad movie (gets more evident towards the end) despite its very predictable storyline. There are certain scenes in the beginning that would raise your eyebrow, especially when you start wondering if this somehow reflects the Japanese at their daily lives, the most absurd being the really unfortunate incident that happened to Mika, which was all hushed up and no cops or higher authorities were alerted despite the severity of the issue.
Hiro's impulsive nature is kinda amusing sometimes, but his steadfast dedication to Mika (the female lead) despite this being a teenage relationship would move you. There are many lovely metaphors thrown in, and you wouldn't look at the sky the same way after watching this movie.
