What I loved most: Joan Chen, 715 and that little Aussie kid
I really enjoyed this film. There is a good-looking cast who portrays commitment to their craft. The visuals were stunning. An inspiring and touching film which could possibly bring tears and heart-wrenching moments.
What I really hated: There's a wide range of choices. Yikes.
This could possibly be the worst Jet Li film of all time. A predictable plot, corny lines and so-so acting make this film a waste of everyone's time. Don't bother.
It is an entertaining film for the whole family. I know for sure that this movie is wildly popular with the young; Every little kid I met has watched it. I get it though, the storyline is simple and Remy was fun. The animation was truly awesome. But I much preferred Shrek 1 and 2. Take your kids to this; they will love it.
881 caught me by surprise - albeit a little corny, it was entertaining whilst retaining a strong local flavor. A good looking cast and superb directorship. Catch it if you can. It's totally worth your time and dollar.
I was looking forward to the film but was sorely disappointed from the start to maybe 5 minutes before the end. The storyline was not tight and the tempo was too slow in some scenes. Song Hye Kyo did a remarkable job though. It is a pity that this film fails to impress. Totally boring. Memoirs of a Geisha was much more engaging. Not worth your dollar.
