overall i think this movie is not too bad. still worth the money. the movie is more of a thriller than a horror film, it makes u wonder what is going to happen next. The beginning of the story is good, except that the story slowly crumples towards the middle portion showing some irrelevant scenes. It makes u go "DUHz~ wats happening?".
The direction of the story does not show any intention to unveil the past. This is unique as compared to other horror films that tells about the past. However, it trys to portray the feelings and incidents that take place within 1408 and how the main character tries to overcome the room.
The horrifying part which the main character faces is his own past. That the evil intent of the room - to make one relive and suffer in his own painful past.
What I really hated: Too draggy, Dumb dolls, no suspense
This is the one of the worst horror films i ever watched. Some of my frens slept in the show. I suggest to stay away from this unless u r rich. Could have been worthwhile if the money was spent eating popcorn outside the cinema. The story is too draggy and the dumb dolls could only sit there and turn their heads and eyeballs. you wont see the dolls walking about. The level of suspense totally sucks. Dun worry, this show wont get u screaming. So u can keep ur tongue.
