What I really hated: long explanations for the story behind

I have waited for a year for this movie when the trailer was released, and i can say it is really worth the wait. It is such a realistic movie, showing all the ugly nature of human, and how pitiful it is the state we are in. The visuals are superb, and I am very impressed with the director's attempt to make this movie more than just a disaster movie. To some, it may be too boring and draggy at the start, but it's preparing us for the scenes and questions that come behind. Watching this movie makes me think a lot. When the movie ended, I was shot back to reality, dazed. Thought-provoking and spectacular. Everyone should watch.

People complaint that this movie is making everyone dizzy. True. Yet, this is the best feature of the film. If you watch movies for the sake of the plot and story, this may be a disappointing film. Cause, the main focus of the movie is not on the story, but on giving you a very realistic visual prospect on what you will encounter if your city is attacked by a monster. From a first-person account, I believe this movie is a break-through. You may find the happenings in the film rather ridiculous. However, the visuals of the movie is a fascination, and it is a breath-taking film indeed. Really worth a watch. If you want something different from all the movies you had seen in recent years, you should watch this. People complaint that the director gives no proper account on how and why the monster appear. I think this is perfectly fine, as the true notion of the movie, is to show how a normal civilian struggles to face 'the end'.

Firstly, i want to make myself clear, that this movie is for LOVERS. meaning, if you are: couples, couples-to-be, Jay-lovers, piano-lovers, music-lovers, romance-lovers, nan quan mama-lovers, huang qiu sheng-lovers.. LOL.. You gotta watch this movie! It's hard to find romance movies with such a nice plot and warm sensual scenes. and it's more hard to imagine jay chou acting it out. The story is simple on the surface, but as you watch on, you find yourself in a journey of some fantasy-liked romance plot which you can hardly predict. This is the twist in the ending, and Jay made it very well. The story seems unreasonable in some parts, but think of it, isn't falling in love another unreasonable facet of life? Many details in the story can trigger your emotions and i recommend you watching it with the person you like. The story is accompanied with so many piano pieces through out. It's a blissful and sentimental movie.

A long story and a good plot. It's the best of the trilogies made so far. The visuals are fantastic and the breath-catching moments never stop. It's really a must watch.

It's a funny, eye-catchy movie.. A romance film which guys will not find boring, as there's a very Hot looking babe in the film as well.. A good plot, telling how a girl's wish came true just so suddenly and the prices to pay and the cost within.. Looks are deceiving.. A superficial world being criticized and praised.. Fantasy-liked romance story. Just enjoy.

It was a movie which tells a lot of story through one incident. From the perspective of two policemen whom survived the tragedy, we get an overall glimpse of what actually happened and other more heart-wrenching scenes are for us to imagine. Life is vulnerable and there are things that we can and cannot do. In the face of terrorism, one brave and courageous deed can mean so much to someone. A narrative plot. The rest is for us to decide.
