Kung Fu Dunk

What I loved most: fighting scenes at the club & dunking at the court

What I really hated: everything else

Eric Tsang is a probably the only actor who dun overact. The rest is crappy acting. Jay tried too hard to act cool and cute. Puke. Gives goosebumps with his attics. But the fighting scene at the club is probably the only fighting scene worth while to watch with its expensive looking props. Horrible storyline, if there is any. Thin plot. Ridiculous sequence. More taiwanese feel then HK style. Dun expect too much from this crap. Watch ONLY if u enjoy looking at expressionless Jay Chou. To compare with Kung Fu Hustle & Shaolin Soccer is a over statement. Its more like Shaolin Soccer MINUS Kung Fu Hustle = FLUNK KRAP.

Spider-Man 3

What I loved most: vemon symbiote & sandman

What I really hated: draggy storyline

the CG of sandman & vemon are fantastic, but points are deducted for the drift from actual storyline. particularly not for fans of the comics. Unbelievable, unrealistic fight sequence makes spidey seems like superman. chessy dancing from peter parker seems like watching jim carrey in the Mask. Spidey is not as agile in his movements in comparison to the comic. swinging around like a rag doll. totally lacks fluid in movement. For a regular movie-goer, its worth the movie thou.

Fracture

What I loved most: Anthony Hopkins (esp. his wheels)

What I really hated: Lacks pace & drama

Other then the scene where Anthony Hopkins shot that slut, the pace of the movie dun keep u at the edge of your seat excellent storyline, ingenious plot, BUT there ain't enough LAW & ORDER, non any existence of CSI. The battle of wits seems more like a race for time. Anthony Hopkins is fantastic as an meticulous criminal. He's as psychotic and cunning as Jack Nicholson can be. He makes Ryan Gosling, look like a rookie, and left him helpless. Not enough climax, and the movie lacks details, hence the plot ain't as thick as it can be. Ryan Gosling is charming as a up and coming lawyer. Rosamund Pike is mesmerizing but like the bond girl, there ain't enough room for her to sizzle here. The only reason how the plot WILL captivate the audience is probably the audience own lack of knowledge for firearms. (******spoiler***** Dun quite understand why it never occur to the NYPD the similarity in firearms between killer and the cops. Seems like they lost their common sense) The ending seems like it can open for a Fracture(d).
