What I really hated: The same stale brand of self-deprecating humour that has seen better times..
The story as with any Bean adventure is predictable and founded on the fact that Bean is a magnet for disaster. By now I find it tiresome and his acting is way over the top.The saving grace is the beautiful location shots and his female co-star.The kid he picks up on his trip tries too hard to emulate Bean to the point that he makes out to be 'retarded' The movie is no different from any of his previous shows which have been repeated too often on tv.
What I loved most: The fact that I was able to stay awake.
What I really hated: The outdated animation and aimless plot.
I was eager to watch this as many years back I was entertained by the first movie. Alas this turned out to be a disappointment. Story lacked direction and the animation did not have the wow factor in the contemporary ones we see nowadays.Overall the movie was simply a lack lustre attempt to revive the TMNT franchise.
What I loved most: Bits of humour thrown in eg the shirtless interview sequence.
What I really hated: The slow pace and a predictable storyline.Unbelievable, but it had a fairytale ending too!
The story takes a while to unfold and we are dragged into the struggles of a medical salesman who has to cope with an unsupportive wive and a growing son. Junior is the best actor of the lot.The movie is mainly about how this guy overcomes adversity to achieve ultimate success. Movie is slow in parts but is able to sustain the viewer's interest.Message is simple : When you are down bad luck comes in droves and you got to make your own luck. Overall watchable.
What I really hated: The fact that I actually sat through the show waiting to be entertained.
The first movie was the benchmark which this sequel had to aspire to. But then again like many sequels the movie bombed. See this if only at a loose end and then only if you have a free pass.
What I loved most: Humour and fast paced action plus great story line.
What I really hated: none
Approached with caution and scepticism at first not knowing what to expect but sat through movie with no regrets. Ist part of movie was laced with good humour and fun which then merged into a fast and gripping action adventure lasting till the last minute of the show.
