Where do I start? The story was great, considering that there couldn't have been much deviation from the batman comics. The acting was brilliant. Ledger-Joker may be overrated by many, but it is stunning nonetheless. Eckhart-Harvey dent was underrated, and his storyline was important to the flow of the plot, the role which he carried out with sensitivity and credibility. No one can ever doubt Christopher Nolan's credentials after this film, he has such a stunning resume of movies he could be a legend by the time he stops making films. The show leaves you begging for more. Definite movie of the year contender, Best movie of '08 so far and ranks right up there with last year's powerhouses: No Country and There Will Be Blood. Well done.

This show was distinctly average. The plot regarding faux Chinese history gave it a good headstart due to the relativity of culture. However, the show is weighed down by what eventually turns out to be a cheesy plot with even more cheesy acting. Personally, the show lost all credibility when the Yetis played NFL touchdown at one part, but since the mummy was never too big on realism, the show gets 3 stars.

The show was alright, if it wasn't a sequel to such a successful movie it probably would've gotten a higher rating. However, taking into consideration that Jack Neo usually does manage to discuss relevant Singaporean issues, Money No Enough 2 seems rather half-hearted. The plot was supposed to allude to the moral dilemma of family issues and financial difficulties, but ended up being all about ERP half-jokes and the like. A credible performance by the mother, but other than that, nothing else about the show was an over-the-top success.

The only reason I watched this was because of Sandler. He did have some pretty good and funny stuff in the past, but Zohan definitely will not add itself to that category. I understand that the show isn't suppose to take itself seriously, but it was so unfunny that it was laughable. There were only a few laugh out loud moments, and everything else was just distasteful. The plot aimed at some meaning, but the way it was achieved at the end was quite pitifully laughable. Please only watch it if you have no choice.

After watching the enigma that was curse of the crystal skull, I was given a bad first impression of Indiana Jones movies. Of course, I had not watched the other shows but it was really poor. Thankfully, this show is not, whether its the suspenseful action sequences, the character of Indiana Jones, or the comical chinese boy, this show is really really good through and through. Recommended for anyone and everyone, I'll definitely look into the other Indy movies too. This one was quality

So this wasn't exactly a show that breaks the 'average' barrier, but it was still interesting to watch and still worth the cinema ticket price. Jim Sturgess and Kevin Spacey acted off each other well in the show, both being really talented actors. Although the plot began to spiral into something quite silly and unbelievable past the middle of the movie, the show remains all in all, a watchable movie.
