The Cave

What I loved most: The creature and the underwater scenes

What I really hated: Nothing

I love this excellent film. The mythical creature and the adventure of the cave divers trying to explore the unknown cave system. The exciting part was when they were being pursued by the creatures. Amazingly, these creatures were actually human. You will make your money worth watching this movie.

Catacombs

What I loved most: Nothing

What I really hated: Bad storyline and cast

The title Catacombs seems quite exciting but the storyline is far from being exciting. This is a no-no movie to watch. The first 30 minutes can get a feel of the excitement, but down to the mid-way till the end of the movie, I don't know what the show's trying to convey and the ending is the worst. I do not recommend this film for horror fanatics.

Boogeyman 2

What I loved most: Nothing

What I really hated: Storyline

Oh, it is just another slasher file. It is totally different from Boogeyman. Can't imagine having only one nurse at the mental institiution during night shift. Moreover, there's only less than 10 patients in such a large instituiton. If I were to compare, I prefer Boogeyman and not this movie.

Beneath Still Waters

What I loved most: The ghostly apparitions

What I really hated: Very dark shots underwater

This is an average horror movie. The town of Marinbad was being flooded by water where many were drowned. After many years, a town was created next to the artificial lake that covers Marinbad. Two boys unwittingly awaken the dead and one of them was captured and presumed dead by the residents. This movie is more of supernatural and ghostly apparitions. Since it is shot underwater, the scenes were quite dark and not really clear as to what happened. So it is easily being missed out on exciting parts.

The Abandoned

What I loved most: The suspense and mystery of the house

What I really hated: nothing

Having to be eaten by a pig is really disgusting. Moreover, the sudden appearance of the twin brother which supposely to be dead, came back to the old house to search for clues to the unknown. Both siblings experience ghostly forms which attacks them, and they are trying to find out what really happened to their parents and what brought them back to the house. There's many guessing and suspense. It is well indeed to understand what the movie is trying to convey. Watch it and you will know.

Art Of The Devil 2

What I loved most: The gore and revenge

What I really hated: Nothing to comment

I love this movie and I strongly recommend to those horror fanatics. The storyline is good and the suspense/thriller is there. The students' dark secrets and the revenge of their ex-teacher. They were invited to attend an old friend father's funeral. All of them were again reunited and of course they went visiting their ex-teacher where she treat them preserved mangoes and dinner. The horror begins when one by one, the friends died. Last but not least, the ending is also excellent. The blood and gore was nicely shot. Do remember to watch it if there's a chance.
