Hannibal Rising

What I really hated: No Anthony Hopkins

The story itself is not bad, if you like the rest of the series Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. Then this would sure be on the must watch list. It portrays the early stages of how Hannibal became what he was in the later stages of life. Although as compared to the book itself many significant parts were left out. Also without the main man Anthony Hopkins in the movie something seems missing. Not that the actor in the movie was't good just the certain feel to the series is lost

Epic Movie

What I loved most: nothing

What I really hated: hell lots

I went in expecting a crap movie as per the others but this would be the lowest of the low. I never did laugh throughout the movie at most a chuckle or two. The storyline was ruined by the writers trying to patch together as many movie spoofs as they could rather than concentrating on making it funny. A lot of the supposedly funny parts are also quite US cultured based in joke. Unless you keep in track with the scene, scandals and MTV you might not even get what the heck they are trying to tell. Well thats money wasted on this movie.

A Battle Of Wits

What I loved most: how ge li manages to out-plot the enemy constantly

If something like San Gou or Zhuge Liang catches your attention then this movie will too. The main selling point of the movie is how both strategist plan and try to out-maneuver each other. The ending also might not suit everyone as not every good deed comes to a good end in this movie.

The Prestige

What I loved most: Twists

Similiar to the illusionist[whats with magic related movies and twists] there are no shortage of twists in the movie itself. It won't be a waste of your ticket money but don't expect any magic secrets revealed. The ending is truly un-expected. Now i can't go on without spoiling the movie.

The Last King Of Scotland

What I loved most: Forest Whitetaker's acting

What I really hated: compressed storyline

Sheds some light for people who have no idea who idi amin is or what was done during his reign over uganda. The movie which is parts actual from the president's doctor's point of view on how amin ruled his country and things he did. Most note-worthy is Forest Whitetaker on how he portrayed his character, its no wonder he was nominated for an Oscar award

The Holiday

What I loved most: Cameron Diaz

Interesting Love Story, with a few slight twists. The actors and actress played out their roles well. Although i felt Cameron and Jude Law played their better and the entire movie seems to have a more focus on their relationship since it was more complicated. Anyway as most of these love stories goes, they all get a happy ending. No this is not a spoiler its a known fact in christmas love movies
