This 3D re-release of the 1997 film, starts out as a present day undersea expedition in search of a valuable diamond aboard the wreckage of the Titanic, however, it then uncovers a tragic story of love between 17-year-old Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) and Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio), a free-spirited artist and third-class passenger who ignites the unquenchable fires of passion inside her. As their story begins, the fate of the Titanic draws to a tragic end across the icy waters of the Atlantic.
What I loved most: the female lead role of Kate Winslet
What I really hated: The undersea exploration as prelude to the drama
Kate Winslet is such a classic beauty. When she is not smiling her face is as dead pan as an oil painting. Flawless. This is my personal bias. I don't like my beauty's face to change constantly by the minutest of emotions all the time. She exhibited this quality again when she acted in another film with Leonardo Dicarprio, namely, {Revolutionary Road}. But when she did smile it was like the sun coming out from behind a dark cloud. You may say that she had a limited array of facial expressions. So e it. I will always remember her
