Miley Cyrus stars as a sharp, street-smart, crass and tough private eye who works to help her Dad (Mike O'Malley) until he gets his job back. Molly gets a job from the FBI where she has to go undercover to save a former mobster's daughter, Alex. At the sorority sister's house, Molly, with her undercover name Brooke Stonebridge, investigates around to get all the information she can to perform her duties, but matters get complicated when she finds herself falling in love with the charming yet sweet, Nicolas (Joshua Bowman).
