Those Who Haven't Seen It Are REALLY Missing O

What I loved most: Hiro is gorgeous!

What I really hated: The ending...when...well I'm not gonna spoil it....

OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS MOVIE (Even though I had to read the english Subtitles) It was beautiful. It made me laugh and made me cry and now the sky has a new meaning to me. I love how it shows that love can be permanant where in the modern day world it is shown to be brittle and frail. I also love how this movie made you feel like you couldn't give up and at the end love prevails!

Definite tear-jerker (if u are a softie)

What I really hated: expected development of movie

Sky of love is quite a refreshing japanese movie depicting innocent teens' first love. The story revolves around 2 attractive main characters-Hero and Mika. There are many sweet and romantic scenes between the couple, though cliched..but who can resist such love?Haha. In the end,the guy died leaving his love behind.Everytime Mika look at the sky,she will be reminded of Hero---sunset = him being shy and when night falls, she feel his arms around her... Though quite a tragedy, but still not a bad movie to watch.

Very gentle and sweet

What I loved most: soft dewy subtle colours (very Japanese), great looking cast, muji-esque furniture..

This is a really sweet/sad movie (gets more evident towards the end) despite its very predictable storyline. There are certain scenes in the beginning that would raise your eyebrow, especially when you start wondering if this somehow reflects the Japanese at their daily lives, the most absurd being the really unfortunate incident that happened to Mika, which was all hushed up and no cops or higher authorities were alerted despite the severity of the issue. Hiro's impulsive nature is kinda amusing sometimes, but his steadfast dedication to Mika (the female lead) despite this being a teenage relationship would move you. There are many lovely metaphors thrown in, and you wouldn't look at the sky the same way after watching this movie.

Looking at the SKY of Love

What I loved most: characters. The story . filming quality.

What I really hated: Though the concepts in the story is very familiar to other films, it won't stop your tears from

The characters were well portrayed... for me. The story is nice and the film quality is great. Its full of LOVE. so much LOVE. It reminds you of how hard a first love hits. How you can learn from your first relationship wish may affect your next. Its so real. Because of it is so similar to reality, it feels simple, but if you think of everything that happens in her life, its actually so complicated.
