Carl has been a model prisoner. He ran the prison's laundry, never caused trouble, and kept his mouth shut. The minute he is released, he begins to plan a heist--an bankjob with his oldtime friend, Patrick... and the minute after that, everything starts to go wrong. Carl must deal with the fact that in his temporary absence, Patrick has enlisted a motley crew with a couple of flaws: the driver he's hired is drug-dependent, the over-the-hill safecracker can't handle a high-tech new safe, and the gang can't seem to synchronize their watches.
