Recommended Muvee

Should watch for muvee lovers.I find that some might dont get the ending but actually it explained how the actual story ends.I find it a gud muvee overall.i've watched quite a number of ghost muvees but this is diff.should understand & really watch the ending.btw believe it or not,i sat beside Fiona herself when watching it.She's quite pretty in person though.tot of talking/taking pic with her but i juz dont wanna disturb her privacy.

Singaporean "Fallen" meets "X-Files

What I loved most: Great lighting and set

What I really hated: Shawn Yue didn't shag Fiona Xie

Please don't slag this film off just because you don't get the endin. It's got somethin for everyone - from artsy still scenes to in-your-face screamers. It's not a milestone in film-makin or anythin like that but at least it's not borin and it's not silly. I'm thinkin this is one of the better horror films so far this year. Watch out for that suicide scene with the pony-tailed students!

not worth

What I really hated: Unrealistic Killings

Don't be fooled by the advertisement... The unrealistic killings and possessions turns us off. If not because I was sitting at the centre, I would have left early. The story started off well but half way through, the killings by the cops is so crazy. It's totally unlike The Maid.

Scariest movie produced by a Singaporean.

What I loved most: The effects and the plot.

What I really hated: How the ghost possess humans by the human touch.

The film is definitely worth the dollar, shocking visuals (throughout the film), explicit images (look at Fiona's ghastly scene), though the acting is not as good, pity Fiona couldn't use her own voice and needs dubbing. Storyline is nice as it has most of the loose ends tied up though there are some parts of the story that are not corresponding to the storyline, like how the ghost managed to possess the girl who drowned yet the movie was filled with cliffhangers, and it makes one want to watch it on, even though the effects are rather stunning. Compared to Kelvin Tong's previous horror production, The maid, it is a stark improvement in terms of the predictability of the plot, the suspense it captures and the storyline is great! Note: When watching the movie, try to keep your eyes and ears open, or else some might find the movie lousy as it is scenes flow quickly and needs constant attention. oh and, give it a rest at how ghosts possess humans, vampires and werewolves can bite and infect humans, why can't ghosts do the same, it's fiction. so give it a rest. Based on the criterion of impact, the visuals and audio effects, complement the overall plot of the movie and draws your attention, so it can be for sure that one wouldn't fall asleep during the show. Enjoy. (ps: try to pay close attention to the ending part of the movie.)
