Hollywood Class

What I loved most: ALL

What I really hated: None

The story about three kingdoms is awesome. I think this movie is way better than any marvel heroes that western people have. Guan yu is definitely better than those marvel super heroes crap. We are Asian should be proud of ourselves and our culture. Those Americans should watch this movie.

Most over-rated movie of the year

What I loved most: Hottest cast of idols in a movie

What I really hated: Lame fighting scenes

Having watched Andy Lau's version of 3 Kingdoms (Resurrection of the Dragon) not too long ago, I was expecting so much more from this highly rated 3 Kingdoms movie. However, other than the mouth-watering cast, nothing else impressed. A lot of scenes were draggy and seems focused on "showcasing" the idols only. Even the fighting scenes were very long winded! Worse still, they were one of the lamest i ever seen! Imagine one of the "strategies" was actually to let each individual character such as Guan Yu to one by one come out to kill the opponents?!?! Also, instead of a more commanding and intelligent Zhu Ge Liang, Kaneshiro made it witty and hurmorous, which wasnt so bad if other cast was equally good. The irony here is, all the main cast are world class actors, but the rest of the key characters were all Made in China. Not that I would mind if their actings were better. The only consolation is the humorous part of the movie and Ling Zhi Ling's maiden movie, but a pity I wasnt expecting any humour nor was I expecting to be touched by her acting. With all the time wasting and poor fighting scenes, I really need to think twice and wait for other people's review before I consider watching Part 2.

Current best Chinese war show

What I loved most: Zhuge Liang as a Humourous character

What I really hated: Guan Yu, His height & built rather not suit my image on him but he does look like those in painting

History can't be changed, so does this movie plot since it follows 1 of the famous chapter in Romance the 3 Kingdom. Since it's war history show, my 1st tot cross my mind b4 watching, it has to be a serious movie. But it turns up tat Zhuge Liang is the humourous of all for which this character projects a rather witty and serious image to most of us. Well, this is not a bad thing, it really makes the whole theatre laugh.
