Entertaining for the Young
What I loved most: Aliens' skills
What I really hated: Race Slowed Down
by Cliffhanger
It started off quite well, arousing my curiosity about the aliens. But as the movie progressed, it became a drag. And the rest was predictable. Very predictable.
Entertaining movie for the young or young at heart. Still enjoyable. Still worth the price of the ticket.
I'm beginning to like The Rock Dwayne Johnson. He should become as popular as Arnold Schwarzenegger, provided he does not write and direct his own movies.
Storyline is very predictable. Pacing slows down. Action sequence still enjoyable. Sound good too, with good surround effects.

Non-stop thrill
What I loved most: Good-looking actors and actress
What I really hated: Too short
I didn't plan to watch this movie, but seeing some good reviews got me interested. Also, the young actors are incredibly good-looking. I like Dwayne Johnsons too, ever since watching Game Plan.
Basically, the whole movie is quite exciting. My heart can't stop beating fast every moment. It's like when one event over, I sigh relief, another thrilling one occurs. Woah..
Though the animation may be a bit.. can be improved.. yup. Quite a nice show, but my friend slept at certain parts, and I don't understand why she did. Everyone has different definition of a nice movie =)

Amazing race - this is not
Race to Witch Mountain is a 70s remake starring Dwayne Johnson (whom I feel has limited acting abilities, however is plenty of eye candy for the womenfolk). The story is straightforward (read: no Detours) and clearly one for the kids and clearly in anticipation of Disney's latest ride attraction (or not). Not much surprises here and a few plot loopholes (read: Speed bumps) here and there, this Race is not worth rushing to. Do not expect to be wow-ed when the movie ends (read: Pit Stop). An average movie to while away your kids time during the school hols and weekends.

Oh wow. It's a Cheap-o remake :(((
What I loved most: I see Dwayne Johnson :D
What I really hated: Look at the visual effects. So cheap-looking :S
When it comes to the jokes, they're often unfunny. When it comes to the action, it becomes too much. When it comes to the visual effect, it looks extremely fake. These are the things that you'll find in common in all Disney family flicks. Race Witch Mountain is no exception. Dwayne Johnson and Anna Sophia Robb are back once again in a Disney family flick that is based on the children novel of the same title. Don't get me wrong, it's exciting indeed. But for a family flick, Disney has done the same thing over and over again thus Race to Witch Mountain is a major disappointment, a bore and an underwhelming 'masterpiece'. Thankfully, it's great for family audience. Pre-teens will love this movie for sure while the more grown-up teenagers and parents will have their jaws drop due to the super cheesy moments such as unnecessary slow-mo.
