Truly in Singaporean Style
i might not have caught Money no Enough 10 years ago, but this already gives me a good impression. Plot: The oldest brother Yang Bao Hui (by Henry Thia) represents the lower income group. As a child, Hui left school at an early age to earn money to help support his poverty stricken family. He has been working as a delivery man in the same company for the last 30 years. At the persuasion of his younger brother, he strikes out as an entrepreneur to sell health supplements. As business improves, he quits his dead-end job and puts all his time into the business. Unfortunately the business is forced to a standstill when the health supplement is deemed unsafe for public consumption, which inadvertently brings Bao Hui close to financial ruin.
The second brother Yang Bao Qiang (by Jack Neo) portrays a well-heeled successful businesman. As the owner of his own business, he and his wife flaunts their wealth in typical Singaporean fashion, with designer clothes, a flashy car and a big house to put it all in. However in a moment of greed, he allows himself to be cheated out of his fortune and gets into a very difficult financial situation.
The youngest brother Yang Bao Huang (by Mark Lee) represents the ordinary middle working class. He earns a good salary working as a regional supervisor for a health supplement trading company, and spends lavishly to maintain his ‘wannabe’ lifestyle. When the health supplement business goes bust, debts pile up and Bao Huang too, faces financial ruin.
As the winds of fortune changes, the brother’s begin to neglect their elderly mother. It was easy to be generous and filial during the good times but when household budgets tighten, what is the cost of true filial piety? Even the most basic arrangements, including whom mom should stay with, become a contentious issue. Remarks: I feel that the best piece of humor come from Henry Thia and his bad spelling. I mean, spelling manager as "manyzer"? a real laugh there. on the other hand, it is saddening that their mother dies. It really shows us that even money causes problems. Rating: 3.5/5 (70%) Conclusion: definitely a sequel. Special thanks: wikipedia.

What I loved most: Daring jokes about our government
What I really hated: over exaggeration of our greediness
Jack Neo is perhaps the only person who's capable of getting away with airing locals' discontent about the Singapore government. Even viewers in Malaysia will get a glimpse of our "anger" and "discontent" from the screen. However, i feel the movie does not accurately describe Singaporeans in general about certain traits of behaviour, like the couple emptying the jar of cookies, and wife embazzling funds for the husband. Overall, Singaporeans will laugh at the complaints that are littered throughout the movie, from the ERP to the scheduling of medical check-up at public hospitals to the high medical costs in Singapore. One question which was boldly voiced in the movie but perhaps only quietly so, in many locals' minds....was why we are not doing anything about our unhappiness and continuing to vote for the ruling party. Jack Neo is truly a people's hero....in his film making ways.....his movies speak for the people.....this is one one good example...All Singaporeans should watch and have a good laugh...enjoy with your popcorns and nachos.

What I loved most: Humour, of course
What I really hated: Lacked of a main theme!
I always liked Jack Neo film, and all the time he's just disappointing me with his new films.
Well the good thing is that this movie didn't lack humour, meaning that funny jokes are still cracked, and isn't that what we're looking for in every Jack Neo film?
Hui Ge's acting also had significantly improved this time round, which is too, a great sign.
However, the movie totally lacked of a theme! It's titled to imply that money is not sufficient. However, the story transformed into some supposedly touching story revolving around filial piety, which is good, but irrelevant!
Old films like I Not Stupid are way better in terms of meaning, and is far less superficial as opposed to his film.
Well, it's a somewhat good attempt, but Jack Neo needs to start fixing up his films before he loses his fans.

Best Real Life Story Movie
What I loved most: Movie was very Funny and touching
What I really hated: Effects was a bit boring although is latest in technology
When we ( my wife and 2 kids ) saw this movie it reminded us of my mom who was suffering from cancer who needs our attention and care but it was a very good lesson for my 2 kids where they saw the 2 side of the story. We did not opt to send my mom to the old folks home unlike the movie.
My kids learned how important it was to take care of their parents by them self when the time comes. But all four of us was in tears when the movie came to the part where the mother died. It was very touching and reminded us about the very last few minutes of my own mother who died just 3 weeks before the launch of this movie.
About the entire story I feel its important message is no matter what work you are doing its not the money that matters. Money will never be enough if we always think to get rich only.
