- 1996: Cast as the father in the ABC sitcom version of "Clueless"
- 1970: Film debut in Paul Mazursky's "Alex in Wonderland"
- Returned to Los Angeles stage opposite Sean Penn and Danny Aiello in "Hurlyburly"
- Worked in a Manhattan deli
- Appeared as bicycle salesman on "The Brady Bunch" and played Fat Wally on "Starsky and Hutch"
- Appeared on the New York stage in "Twelfth Night", directed by David Mamet, and "Total Abandon"
- Moved to Los Angeles to appear for one year in the West Coast premiere of Jules Feiffer's "Little Murders" in the late 1960s
- Raised in Red Hook section of Brooklyn, NY
- Returned to USA from London; became member of San Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre for two years
