A man is robbed while making a call in a phone booth. Staggering in the middle of the road from the beating by the thieves, he is then struck down by a car driven by a woman named Oom. Feeling sorry for him, Oom brings the man to her apartment and gives him shelter. The man, it turns out, has developed amnesia. Based the name on a pendant the man is wearing - his only possession - Oom names him Tan. A doctor's examination reveals that Tan is uninjured except that he can't remember anything about his life prior to being struck by Oom's car.
What I loved most: Story, Acting (especially Ananda Everingham!)
What I really hated: a bit draggy
The moment I saw the trailer, it immediately caught my attention. Not only the unusual story line, but also the good looking actor. So I pulled my sis to watch with me yesterday. It is indeed a good movie. Ananda's acting as Tan/Tanya is very convincing. The female leading actress is also not bad, although not great. I found her voice is a bit too loud esp in the beginning of the movie, just couldn't stand the pitch! but as the story flows, her character grows in me. but still, the stars of the movie is definitely Ananda! It makes me wonder whether he is that "feminine" in his real life. If you like romance movie, then give it a try! it's refreshing to watch something other than hollywood's movies.
