American B-movie actress Marigold Lexton was over the moon when she landed a part in 'Karma Sutra 3' and arrived in India for the film's production, only to find out that the movie is cancelled. Stranded with no money to return home as she was provided only with a one-way ticket, she lands a singing/dancing role in a Bollywood production to earn enough for her flight ticket home. It is here that she meets and falls in love with Prem - the film's choreographer who happens to be from a royal family in Jodhpur, Rajasthan - who is to be betrothed to another woman in an arranged marriage.
