A traveling saleswoman, Sue Claussen (Jennifer Aniston) sells cheap art to small companies and motels. She soon has a fling with an aimless, underachieving assistant motel manager, Steve Zahn (Mike) at one of her stops, and he pursues her all over the United States.
This is a love story between two modern man and woman, and how the far-distance love starts off. The woman somehow portrays a very strong personality and with her perspectives in determining the kind of love and relationship she wants, instead of the guy making the decisions.
