Set one year after the drama series "Moteki", where detached employee Yukiyo Fujimoto (Mirai Moriyama) is set to turn 30 years old, yet is still single. Until one day, he experiences "moteki" - a period when one becomes popular - and has various women vying for his attention. Despite that, Yukiyo is not drawn to any of them for a long-term relationship. Now, 31-year-old Yukiyo does not have money, dreams or a girlfriend. He has left his job at the staffing firm and is attempting to start a new life by working as a writer for a news site. Suddenly, Yukiyo experiences another bout of "moteki", and this time, he has cute magazine editor Miyuki (Masami Nagasawa), pure and naive office worker Rumiko (Kumiko Aso), beautiful shop assistant Ai (Riisa Naka) and beautiful, but tough co-worker named Motoko (Yoko Maki), all of which have become interested in Yukiyo. With Yukiyo's timid character and bitter experiences can he handle his new found popularity?
At first I though this going to be some dumb funny movies but I was wrong . The movie is very seriously present to viewer the relationship between man and woman of this era .
