hmm.

i guess 'secret' shouldn't be used as a comparison for kungfu dunk as it was not made and plotted by jay. 'secret' was a great movie and it goes to show how talented jay chou is. so those anti jay ppl, spare him on criticism yup.

Kong Fu Dunk

What I loved most: Every part of the movie :))

What I really hated: not at the moment now

I finally get to watch Jay latest movie for kong ku dunk. Overall review, this is a good, entertaining show to be, especially if you are a Jay fan, whom happened to me is a fan of him, you will sure loved this movie very the much. Liked the most is the music, environmental, visuals is very the exciting & interesting to watch. :)) The ending part is touching & happy ending, espeically when Jay wanted to leave zeng zhiwei, so damn the touching, tears really fell down then. :)) If you are not a Jay fan, just watch this movie as a new year movie, me also don't believed that the rating is only 1 star, cannot be so damn bad until liked this, rite!!! :/ Last part whereby I wanted to add is Jay acting is getting better & better, though some say his acting is sucks, hmm, not really, me feel that his acting is getting real better this time, especially the cute part for his action & the unbearable part when he left zeng zhiwei. Triple hooray for Jay then. 4 stars for this movie & for those whom haven't watch the movie for this new year, maybe you can try to watch Kong Fu Dunk in the cinema, beside CJ7 & Jack Neo movie. Trust me, Kong Fu Dunk worth the $8 or rather $9. Come on, chinese new year. ;D

Kungfu Dunk

What I loved most: shuai captain :P & slam dunks

What I really hated: exaggeration of altering universe skill

actually the altering universe skill (watch the movie and u will know) is creative but its kinda fake since this is a reality world. some people say its a replica of the shaolin soccer but i do not agree. perhaps some ideas may have be gotten from shaolin soccer but shaolin soccer effects looks very fake and exaggerating. at least this movie is better. average story because this idea is not new. but many humor antics are use in parts of the story and that did succeed in making the audiences laugh. i enjoy myself watching this movie. i dont agree with people rating this movie as 1 star and saying they rather buy the jay chou album.. well, album u can just dl on the net.. bt if u watch this kungfu dunk movie u can experience the loud effects and wide screen thats why pple watch movies.. i guess that people are biased against jay thats probably why it partly influence them to dislike this movie.. jay's acting isnt that bad as described :/ its average like any other actors... good plot too.. no broken ending

A fantastically stupid movie

What I loved most: the brief first basketball scene b4 jc came out. The kungfu song

What I really hated: Jay chou acting cool, China+Taiwan+HK cast potluck, worst acting ever, nonexistential storyline, an

A fantastically stupid movie that promises to leave a (very) bad taste in your mouth. Only recommended for die-hard jay chou fans who would squeal to death at the very mention of his name (much less a movie featuring him) or people who wont mind spending $8 to sleep. The producer was apparently believes that the only instrument required to milk the Asian teenage cash cow is to feature Jay chou that he gave up all pretense to create any remotely decent entertainment. For a comedy, most of the jokes are so lame and predictable that viewers cringe at every scene. While some of the jokes do invite a chuckle, they are found too far and few in between. Its an absolute torture to sit through the first half which tells how jay chou become a basketball star, the middle section talking about nothing in particular, the last half basketball bulls*** (especially all that rule breaking) at which the eyes of anybody who has even watched one NBA match would be rolled 10 thousand feet into the air.
