Movie Plot Back to top

This film pays homage to the famous Austrian painter, Gustav Klimt. It is set against the rich tapestry of the Fin de Siecle. Paris, 1900. After being awarded a gold medal for his painting, Philosophy, at the World Expo, Klimt watches a movie at the reception's formal dinner. He is deeply fascinated by the leading actress' performance and wants to get to know her. At her patron's palace, Klimt meets the woman's body double - as well as the actress herself - and becomes entangled in an erotic triangle of truth, seduction and delusion.
