This show truly reflects the organisation behavior in a typical civil service organisation. The "talk a lot" through meetings after meetings and "no action" scenario in the civil organisation, as well as the risk adverse mentality (through black and whites!), is something that i hope would be picked up for relevant improvements to progress. Politics wise, it is always prevalent in most organisations, but its nice and funny to see the dramatisation of this common ill in organisations. Most impressive of all, in the story line, is the message that Singaporeans must remember to be filial to their parents regardless of their education status. We must reinforce Confucious Teachings continuously to ensure that the social fabric is not weakened. In my opinion, this social value is getting diluted in Singapore and i thank Jack Neo for directing the story line to incorporate this message in a very innovative manner. Overall, a very entertaining show that has lots of messages and teachings for the young and old, regardless of education level. It's a show worth watching!

What I loved most: The actors are good.
What I really hated: Sigapore government no longer work the way as the movice shown
Other then the great performance by the casts, I must say this show was just produced for the sake of producing. (may be to meet Jack's target of at least one film per year)
It used to be fun and provocative to watch Jack's movie. But not any more with this one, especially when I am a civil servant and know well how things work in our government.
For eg. the contrast between the style of working between "the young" (Scholar) and the "old" management (this is simply another form of office politics) is nothing new. The email "arrows" shooting at one another could happen anywhere. "Ah Mang" style of jokes were plenty but were getting cold. Overall, this movie gave me the impression that its done in a hurry (may be to meet the Chinese New Year season).
I certainly hope Jack Neo could produce more meaningful movie like "I no stupid" and not rush out production in this manner.
