The "Hitman" known only as agent 47 is a genetically-engineered assassin who works for a mysterious organisation called The Agency. A ruthless killing machine and the best at what he does, 47 has been trailed for years by a relentless Interpol agent. 47's latest assignment - the assassination of a power-hungry Russian politician - embroils him in a far-reaching conspiracy. His assignment is further complicated when he is unexpectedly drawn to a beautiful prostitute, Nika, who becomes a "random equation" in 47's precision-fueled work and life.

What I loved most: Everything about The hitman himself
What I really hated: The villian? The president with lots of doubles?
A very very accurate hitman, precise, quick. Very attractive. Very charming. He's on a mission to kill the person who hired him and then had to kill the woman of the President. Nika is also a very sexy woman but it's ... quite an eye opener to see how Agent 47 managed to resist her temptations. But I guess, towards the end, he did felt something for her otherwise he wouldn't give her the vineyard and protect her against the others who tried to kill her? If only all hitmen look as suave as him...lol! Oh yeah, the parts where 4 bald men of different nationalities killing each other with bareknuckles & ninja swords is quite redundant though.
Do you have a passion for action? Do you have a fetish for bald men? Do you love playing videogames? If so, this movie is definitely for you.
"Hitman" is derived from the popular videogame of the same name. The story revolves around a man known only as Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) who works for an organisation known only as "The Agency". He has been trained to be a professional assassin for hire. His most powerful weapons are his nerves and pride in his work. The number 47 is his only name, derived from the last two digits of a barcode tattooed on the nape of his head.
The hunter becomes the hunted when Agent 47 gets caught in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian police chase the hitman across Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who is trying to take him out of the game and why. However, his greatest threat to his survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotion aroused in him by the beautiful prostitute, Nika (Olga Kurylenko).
Olyphant is living out every man's ultimate dream and worst nightmare. He's playing a powerful, professional assassin but he's also doing it completely bald. Olyphant plays the character quite well, portraying a cold, heartless assassin just like in the game. Also, his bald head and cool looks will swoon millions of girls out there.
Don't worry boys; you are not being left out, as you get to see Kurylenko, the hot model from Ukraine, stripping. If that does not lure you into watching this movie, the action will definitely do the job. Headshots, blood splatters, explosions... you name it, the movie has it for you. The rumour about re-editing the movie from R rating to PG-13 is just a rumour after all.
A little reminder to those who are avid gamers: leave your gaming brain behind and just watch "Hitman" as a movie and nothing more. This is to avoid being disappointed when expecting to see too much of the game in the movie.
