The final chapter of the "Harry Potter" saga comes to the screen in this feature adaptation of the popular novel by children's fantasy author J.K. Rowling, with series veterans Steve Kloves and David Yates writing and directing, respectively. The "Deathly Hallows" will be split up into two films, with Part 2 set for release in 2011.
It was awesome. It has definitely done justice after the 6th movie. It was action packed. I enjoyed it.Harry Potter is both read and watched by people from all walks of life. Some parts were seriously not meant for children. The roles were very well played by Daniel Radcliff, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint and the others. The sound effects were great .Just hope the second part is as good as the first.

What I loved most: Action, good acting, high budget
Definitely the best instalment for me. I'm an avid fan of the Harry Potter series and personally found the 6th movie quite dreadful and disappointing. This final movie has finally done the Harry Potter series some justice. The actions scenes were exciting, great scenery, etc. Besides, the budget looks pretty high, not like any harry potter movie has disappointed us in terms of budget before....More

Basically, nothing bad can be said about the movie. If you aren't a fan and this isn't your genre, you'll probably find yourself feeling lost and stupid. So don't bother watching and criticising it.

In this penultimate installment of Harry Potter Franchise, gone are the wide, lingering shots of Hogwarts and the safety it provides for the trio. In this penultimate installment of Harry Potter Franchise, gone are the wide, lingering shots of Hogwarts and the safety it provides for the trio. Instead, in the opening sequence, Hermione must bid farewell to her Muggle parents in more than one sense as she erases their memory; it is in this heartbreaking scene that set the tone for the rest of the film, an emphasis of the foreboding and danger. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, having acted alongside Britain’s finest actors for a decade, have certainly settled solidly into their roles, adding subtle edges to their delivery. The chemistry between them has blossomed, Radcliffe and Watson are still brilliant and intriguingly, Grint has emerged as a more complex performer. The decision to split the final book into two films paid off and proved to be correct as it allowed more leeway for writer, Steve Kloves (who had written all the installments except Order of Phoenix), to be more faithful to the source material and focus more on the depth and emotional up-and-downs of the leads. No doubt fans of the movie will have become accustomed to Director David Yates, who helmed Order of Phoenix and Half Blood Prince, as he continues his usual fare rhythm that alternates soothingly between frenetic battle sequences and tea-sipping exposition. The film continues the franchise's reputation as a visual feast, building up on the thrilling suspense and yes, setting up the stage for the final farewell to the magical world J.K. Rowling have brought to us.
