What I loved most: Value of family and freindship featured in the movie
What I really hated: The tunnel ghosts - not scary at all
Another based-on-urban-legend-ghost-in-the-tunnel story, but the film is way much better then the Indonesian flick Terowongan Casablanca that I watched earlier this year.
The story begins with the disappearence of a boy who found a train pass at a train station's terminal. Legend has it that who ever found the belongings of the so call ghost tunnel will either die or disappear. When a little girl Noriko found the same train pass and later disappeared, her sister Nana vowed to trace her even on her own accord. With the help of her new found freind Kanae and a suspended train driver, the trio try to solve the mystery of the ghost tunnel and bring back Noriko.Scary part aside, the film is all about family value and freindship - a sister determination to save her sister, a freind's sacrifice and a mother's love to her child.
Personally, I also started to ponder about this urban legend. Just before watching the movie, I found an employee tag belongs to a girl at the mall. Coincidently, I also have to take the often deserted last train home after the movie. But nothing wrong happened - maybe because I returned the tag to girl immediatley? Things might be different if I decided just to keep the tag instead....
