What I loved most: Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling
What I really hated: The ending
Well there are some bad reviews and some good reviews about this psychological thriller. I say, Fracture is still entertaining in its own way. Anthony Hopkins is a structural engineer who planned to murder his unfaithful wife and her lover. Ryan Gosling plays a hot shot district attorney who "doesnt lose" in his cases.
Expect good performance from these two actors. Though this movie offers its twists and wits however the ending is left hanging. You are to find the continuance of this story by yourself and the final verdict depends on you.

What I really hated: gosling character acting like a jerk!!!
i do feel the plot is very thin... just abt a man shooting his wife n get away with it ... and the detective being the guilty party which causes the death of the man's
wife n then we start to get the law drama coming in... ai yo so lame...

A battle of wits
What I loved most: Anthony Hopkins reprising his role as Hannibal Lecter. Well, almost..
What I really hated: Ryan Gosling playing a jerk that is just too charismatic to hate
The storyline is simple: A man (Anthony Hopkins) shot his wife dead and a persecutor (Ryan Gosling) is sent in to persecute the murderer.
While the premise is similar to "Primal Fear" (for those of you who have watch this film starring Edward Norton and Richard Gere), "Fracture" deals more with the internal turmoils of a calculated man who has to deal with the infidelity of his wife.
The film allows the audience to enter the psyche of this man and made them question his beliefs. A thought-provoking film indeed.

What I loved most: Anthony Hopkins (esp. his wheels)
What I really hated: Lacks pace & drama
Other then the scene where Anthony Hopkins shot that slut, the pace of the movie dun keep u at the edge of your seat
excellent storyline, ingenious plot, BUT there ain't enough LAW & ORDER, non any existence of CSI. The battle of wits seems more like a race for time.
Anthony Hopkins is fantastic as an meticulous criminal. He's as psychotic and cunning as Jack Nicholson can be. He makes Ryan Gosling, look like a rookie, and left him helpless. Not enough climax, and the movie lacks details, hence the plot ain't as thick as it can be.
Ryan Gosling is charming as a up and coming lawyer. Rosamund Pike is mesmerizing but like the bond girl, there ain't enough room for her to sizzle here.
The only reason how the plot WILL captivate the audience is probably the audience own lack of knowledge for firearms. (******spoiler***** Dun quite understand why it never occur to the NYPD the similarity in firearms between killer and the cops. Seems like they lost their common sense)
The ending seems like it can open for a Fracture(d).
