What I loved most: Awesome cinematography and visuals!
What I really hated: A plot that wasn't solid or substantial
The plot felt like there was a lot missing. They didn't account properly what actually happened when they skipped between years. Trying to cram 4 years into 107 mins is just a bit too much. And the plot was not solid or substantial enough. It was hard to focus on the characters, and actually feel for the characters, because there were just too many.
The main purpose of the film (about Fame and achieving Fame, I suppose) was not brought across properly. And I left the movie theatre feeling a bit lost.
The absolutely stunning cinematography and visuals almost made up for it though! The choreography is amazing too and I thought my money was worth it just for the visuals. (A better plot could have made my money more worth it though)
