What I loved most: The singing and plot
What I really hated: nothing
It was like a musical of some sort, coz they were practically singing most of the time , even during arguments, and conversations, the talk was more
like singing.
It is about 3 girls who tried to make it big. Then they were given an opportunity when Jamie Foxx gave them an offer to make them real singers.
They started off becoming back up singers for Eddie Murphy. Things were going well for all of them. Then,Jamie Foxx had plans to break it into the White community.
It is a story about prejudice, and skin colour. It contains corruption too.
During that time, there was racism, and it was pretty hard for the Blacks to make it big in the music industry.
Even if they had really good music, the Whites would just steal their lyrics, sing it , and pass it off as though the song belongs to them .It was sad and heartaching when you see somebody else claiming credit and popularity for all the hard work you put in.
There was a relationship going on between Jen Hudson and Jamie Foxx. Jennifer Hudson's role was stubborn, strong headed, determined, strong, and independent.
She fell in love with Jamie Foxx.
Jamie Foxx didn't really love her. He was using her.
In the end , misunderstandings, arguments, row of fights occurred when Jennifer Hudson became jealous, about the attention Beyonce was receiving by Jamie Foxx.
Jamie had his eyes set on Beyonce.
Then, Jennifer left the group, and Jamie found a substitute for her.
And the popularity continued to grow, even without Jennifer. They became very successful, very rich, and popular!
Jamie changed, and became very manipulative, unscrupulous, greedy and possesive .
What he didnt know, was when Jennifer left the group, she was already pregnant with his child.
Anyway, Jennifer didnt let anyone know abt this matter, and soon the child grew up, and she was 9 years old that time.
Beyonce had had enough of Jamie, and left him.
The ending was really great.
The 3 girls and Jenifer decided to sing a concert for audiences for the very last time, coz they want to do their own separate things.
