Zoe is a little girl who believes in fairy tales. Not because she is naive, but because she likes fairy tales. So in order to help her uncle Lord Arnold in getting rid of a terrible dragon, Zoe decides she has to find some heroes. When she meets Gwizdo and Lian-Chu - a couple of two-bit, fly-by-night dragon hunters - she decides that she's going to believe in them anyway.
What I loved most: Sets & Character Design, Animation, Concept of the alternative world
This movie is a refreshing change from those that we usually see from big studios like Pixar/Dreamworks. The sets and character design is very beautifully done, and the alternative world in the movie looks very interesting. There was never a dull moment, pacing is good and the animation is top notch! Watching this makes me come away with the impression that those usual films by Pixar/Dreamworks are too safe. But I think this film will appeal a lot more to teenagers and young adults, while those other CG films appeal more to a general audience. Highly recommended!
