Movie Plot Back to top

The Suzuran Senior High School for Boys, nicknamed 'The School of Crows', is the poorest achieving, most violent school in the country. The students are called 'crows' as they band together in factions, battling each other for power. Oguri plays the role of Genji Takiya, a transfer student who attempts to take over the school and is mentored by old boy yakuza Katagiri (Kyosuke Yabe) as he faces off against rival Serizawa (Takayuki Yamada).

Great Story

What I really hated: romance between ruka and genji

i disagree with reviews that commented that Crow Zero has a weak story. It only meant that the reviewers have not looked past action and pretty lead boys. The whole point of the movie was not about the romance between genji and ruka, and it is not only about the fighting! I beg anyone who is about to watch the movie, do the director, do the writer, do the manga, do the whole crew justice!! by forgetting the popular actors and focus on every character and how they fit in the movie instead. they are so much going on, FRIENDSHIP among the Serizawa members or friendship among the GPS members. Why they chose the side they were on and what makes them stay so firm to their leaders. And friendship is only one of the greatest themes of the movie. Look at the character Katagiri, what does his part tell you? The two reviews made my blood boil...... "High drool factor"? it is not an idol chick flick.
