What I loved most: romance genre.
What I really hated: rather cliche storyline.
It is a nice love story.
But I wouldn't say the best, though.
Yes, it is based on the set in Egypt.
And is Islam -related.
The storyline is rather cliche.
It has normal love stories with sacrifice.
It is just an OK from me.
I don't think this would be the kind that would awe me.
Average.
Just an opinion.

The greatest romance movie
What I loved most: Great storyline.
What I really hated: Arabs character played by Indonesian can be confusing to viewers
Its likely to be showcase exclusively with the likes of other romances movie like Titanic,Meet Joe Black,Legends of the falls,Sweet november,Ghost and many more that i've watched.Ayat ayat cinta is an Asian success without projecting flesh or sex and yet this movies attracted millions in this region. The producer strictly focus on the 3 main character Maria( an Arab Egyptian Coptic),Aisha (A rich German/turkish)and Fahri(an Indonesian student in AL Azhar) with great storylines, poetic script and good act works. This story also potrays a truth and positive sides of Islam.A truly great story not to be missed.
And as Mr Robertson claimed that this movie degrades women and Fahri married Aisha for many are lies. Its obvious that Mr Roberston fabricated and twisted the story to suit his own agenda.First never in the story does fahri mention about marrying AIsha for money,in fact Aisha are the one who says that there are no material bound in their marriage and Fahri even suggest to get a full time job to be a head of the family. And lastly Al-azhar degree is not a stupid university degree as claimed by Mr.Robertson.Btw Al-azhar university is the first and the oldest university in the world, without their existence i guess they will be no Oxford, cambridge, berkeley or Harvard.Just like if the nile without Egypt, there will be no Egytian civilisation.I guess we know what is Mr.Robertson hate about.

What I loved most: Everything
What I really hated: Nothing
i dun agree with hopper_robertson . Fahri mariad with Aisha not because of her money . i think you dun understand the storyline . and Noura did that because she love him so much until she want him to married with her . that why he make up stories . no one is perfect in this world . Fahri is not perfect too . although he is a man that is faithful to god(allah) , but he still have mistakes .

Movie to Brainwash Women (and Men)
What I loved most: The Scenery of Egypt
What I really hated: Negative Portrayal of Women
I just finished watching AAC. I am appalled that a movie with such a stupid storyline which projects women as either a liar (Noora), a compromising housewife (Aisha), a weak-hearted fool who would rather die than live when her love chooses to marry for money (Maria), and a wishful student who would rather stare at a picture than bloom as a woman (Nurul) can be so popular in Indonesia. Aisha actually has more heroic qualities than Fahri, yet she consented to share the love of that mediocre man with someone else. Maria is actually more intelligent than Fahri, yet she wanted to die when such a mediocre man decides to marry for money. And I don't want to bother with Nurul and Noora as the two "N's" represent women in a state of poor spiritual development and not very interesting. At least, Nurul's character wasn't fully developed in the film. And what is so special about this Fahri? He marries for money, tells another woman that he loves her after his loving wife rescued him from prison, needs help from a woman to fix his computer, uses his wife's money for his apartment and brought another woman to live there with them, started crying when Al-Azhar decided to throw him out (as if his worth depends on a stupid university degree as opposed to the depth of his own heart). In fact being in that prison was a blessing for him because he actually met a fellow prisoner who knew more about Islam's teaching of faith, patience, and egolessness than the sought-after, weak-hearted Fahri. WOMEN - WAKE UP!!! Don't you know you are being brainwashed? And Men - do the women in the film represent how you want your daughters and your sisters to aspire to be?
