"Avatar" is an emotional journey of redemption and revolution. The story tells of a wounded ex-marine, who thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, and eventually crosses over to lead an indigenous race in a battle for survival. Thus, combining the elements of massive spectacle and intimate character that made James Cameron's "Titanic" the highest grossing film of all time.
What I loved most: Best Thing I have ever seen on the big screen
What I really hated: Nothing...it is really an amazing show
Words cannot begin to describe the experience of watching this in 3D. It is a real keeper, definitely one of the best spectacles in movie history. I was so blown away by the visuals alone, it is hard to remember that the movie cannot be real. That was how realistic this was. Kudos to the director, a real genius to have done this wonderful a piece that must have been unimaginably difficult to create. It is groundbreaking cinema and a definite one to buy when it comes in blu-ray. If you have not watched this, you have missed out on the best movie of the decade. It is really that good. Stop reading this review and go watch it.
