What I loved most: watching nicole's expression when drover shoots a kangaroo she's admiring!

What I really hated: i don't like the war part. it doesn't look real to me. i was hoping something more.

Australia is sure a great movie to watch for it's beautiful scenery. The acting was good, especially from nicole kidman. The storyline, however, was kinda predicted in the end. Everything ended happily, except for the death of drover's brother in law (well, there must be someone to be sacrificed, isn't it? of course it wouldn't be the main characters!)- very typical of western movie. Even they've just had been boombed by the japanese, nicole and nullah still survived without minor injury and only covered with dust. Sigh. Maybe i was hoping more after seeing how bad the situation is in Palestine currently..

This should be the best movie of 2008! The scenary is breathtaking! The acting is superb; its Nicole Kidman and Huge Jackman, need me say more? Watch it .. ! It's better than Titanic!

Yes, it's not very subtle, it's sprawling, and it feels like 2 movies patched together. But just think of it as a story that's told to you, go along for the ride, and you'll be swept along by it all. All in all, it's still very enjoyable.

What I loved most: the story line

although this movie is around 3 hours .. but it does not feel draggy or boring at all .. the romance .. the culture ? the hidden generations ? its just so worth the time & money to catch this movie (;
