Andy Lau is a veteran performer in Hong Kong's action cinema. His work has spanned Hong Kong's many genres, from comedies, to martial arts pictures, to gangster movies. Most of his major roles have been in popular mainstream fare, but one of Lau's better performances was a supporting role in the critically acclaimed film, God of Gamblers (1989).
