What I loved most: the govt. doesn't lie to us(how naive)

What I really hated: never really got to see the hybrid alien properly

The original alien(1979) movie had suspense and scare factor so thick you could have sliced it.James Cameron's sequel was the best 'ALIEN' movie and the best sequel to any movie. The makers of this one should have realised that the element of suprise was gone when Ripley hit the engine start button in the original movie(you actually ,finally, get to make out the shape of the alien). In this installment they tried to make it scary and with suspense(too late).They should have made it more"visual";too many dark scenes.I'm sure lots of people wanted to see the Hybrid Alien properly or are they saving it for AvP3?

To do some justice to this movie, it's never meant to be a showcase of good acting or even a strong script. I mean, can't expect much from a director named 'The Brothers Strause' who came from special effects background with zero directing experience. So definetly the approach to this movie is like a typical slasher movie, and if audiences can watch it with that mentality, then it may actually be enjoyable. I may get flamed for saying this, but this movie isn't as bad, at least much better than AVP 1. Special effects r much better now and just to those who r wondering... my friend was asking me why the predator don't help the humans, even killing them? Well the predator care nuts abt us humans, his here solely to hunt for the ultimate prize - The Predalien.
