The film that garnered Andy Lau Taiwan's Golden Horse Award, it tells a heart-warming story of a man and his devoted servant. Chun-tao (Ip), whom everyone calls Ah Tao, has spent 60 years wholeheartedly serving several generations of the Leung family. When Ah Tao suffers a stroke, forcing her to quit her job, she soon worries that she would die alone in a nursing home. However, her sole current master, Roger (Lau), not only helps her move into a nursing home, but devotes himself to caring for her after all that she has done for him and his family.
