What I loved most: The sad effort this movie tries
What I really hated: Everything
this movie totally sucks...
It's tries so hard that it falls flat on it's face with unimpressive acting skills.
And poor coordination to the film plot, it just makes singapore film industry more sadder

What I loved most: The Song they sang
What I really hated: Whole Movie
Due to too much of the advertisement. my mum want me to accompany her to watch this movie otherwise I don't think I will watch this movie. Personally, I feel this movie is for older generation which they will certainly enjoy this kind of movie. Definitely not for the new generation people. I like the soundtrack of the song but not the movie.

Deceptively Simple Movie of the Year

What I loved most: English Subtitles - First Class
I have watched this local thrice, once in Singapore and twice in JB. Even blockbusters from Hollywood do not have such a 'pulling power' as this movie. The English Subtitles - First Class - superb, without which Englsih educated audience would not be able to follow the story line closely. 881 is a deceptively simple movie, but underlying its supposedly simplicity are an intense examination of life and what it meant to be alive. Kudos to a young director like Royston who is able to bring to the forefront what really matters for all people - be they the glittering getai stars or the ordinary man in the street. After watching this movie, you will leave the cinema hall a different person from whence you first entered that cinema hall. This is a guarantee. Experience it for yourself!
