worse than the first one

What I loved most: Nothing

What I really hated: The fact that I actually sat through the show waiting to be entertained.

The first movie was the benchmark which this sequel had to aspire to. But then again like many sequels the movie bombed. See this if only at a loose end and then only if you have a free pass.

Yet another crappy zombie flick

What I loved most: zombies killing humans?

If you have seen 28 Days Later you're likely to figure out how 28 Weeks Later would go. Expecting more since this round they had more budget but un-fortunate to say the movie wasn't scary nor was there much suspense except for the music which we have heard enough of in the first. If you didn't like the first, don't bother wasting your money on this. Since there are much more big block-busters out there now.

28 Weeks Later

What I loved most: The human drama

I never watched its prequel (28 Days Later) but nevertheless this movie is still worth to watch. The movie started in the darkness of a countryside cottage where a group of people were hiding form the zombie like people who were infected by the "Rage" virus (called the "infected" in the film). All hell broke loss when the "infected" gain accessed into the cottage and ran amok - tearing, biting and ripping into anything that lives. 28 weeks later, the virus has been contained and NATO led forces began rebuilding London on stages. This saw the reunion of Tammy and Andy with their father Don - the sole survivor of the cottage attacked. In a twist of fate, the children were re-united with their mother Alice who is presumed dead in the cottage attack. The reunion with Alice - who is infected yet immune to the rage virus - lead to a family conflict and subsequently another outbreak of the virus... It is a good movie, something that worth to ponder about - how far we as human race will go into killing each other when face with a situation like this?

28 Weeks later

Seriously, this is a scary realistic movie. You never know whether it can be true or not. The virus can spread. This gory movie shows us that some viruses can't be destroyed or gone. It is not some bloody zombie movies, it has meanings to it. You wanna see blood squirting out, here is one for you. But the more painful thing is the violence, it is brutal, you are feelng the despairs of the people, people die just because they were presumed that they got te virus. This should be enough for zombie movies' fans.
