The Man Vs Man Fight!

What I loved most: The storyline was unique

I thought that the storyline was unique and i couldn't expect what will be happening next. There are some humour added into this movie too, which liven up the whole show. If you watch the movie light heartedly, u will find the show is interesting. This story evovles arnd prophecy too. Overall, i didn't regret watching the show!

Unrealistic but watchable

What I loved most: Makes no pretence at realism, pure entertainment

What I really hated: Makes no pretence at realism.

The plot is devoid of any historical accuracy and realism nor does it make any effort in that direction. Critics may point out the faults but that's actually part of the charm of the movie. Still, as a movie to occupy and provide 1& 1/2 hours of entertainment, it fulfils that primary objective. Wooly mammoths in the desert. A Tiger that have more brains and language understanding than the human actors. That's entertainment in itself. Visuals are the best part of the movie. Has a great ending that is consistent with the unrealism of the rest of the plot. Once one is prepared for that, it turns out to be an entertaining movie.

10000BC

What I loved most: Visual

Hey Mr Peh, I beg to differ... I think 10000BC is pretty interesting although it comes with an insensible plot. You mentioned about civilisation... well, if you think you can direct a storyline based on 10000BC with cavemen and prehistoric animals without any dialogues, you must be an incredible genius and should be given an oscars. :-) Come on, it is only a movie and what's most important in a movie is the entertainment factor - certainly most of us who had watched 10000BC would have agreed that the Visuals are stunning!

Poorly Planned Movie

What I loved most: The Sceneries

What I really hated: The plot, the directing and the planning of the whole movie

This movie really moved me, but not in a good way. It left me fidgeting in my seat, waiting for it to end. This movie shouldn't even be called 10,000BC, it should be called 100BC instead. And by changing the title, means removing the sightings of prehistoric creatures, i.e the Sabertooth Tiger and the Mammoths. Supposedly meant to portray the lives and adventures of a caveman and his tribe, instead they added in civilisation, which was totally inappropriate. How can there be civilisation when mammoths and sabertooth tigers are still around??? Moreover, it was a rip off of the movie Apocalypto. I watched Apocalypto, and i found the movie to be a worthy movie to watch. But this movie, even though its a rip off, does not stand up to Apocalypto. It seems that in most parts of the movie, the director was very confused and just wanted to add a scene in to cover up the portholes. The poster is very deceiving. The "fierce" Sabertooth tiger portrayed on the poster did not even fight with the hero, instead it acted with compassion in front of him. When it comes to wild animals, there is no such thing as compassion. It seems like the sabertooth had already eaten before appearing at the scene of the "African tribe", therefore not wanting to eat the people there. Despite all the criticism, there were some good parts of the movie, like the background scenery, and the lead actors, used as eye-candy for some of the viewers. This movie proves to you that even good directors are capable of making dreadful movies. (ps: This movie has just given me 10,000 reasons to "Bo-Chap"* it. haha! Get it, Bo-Chap =BC.)
