Another let-down, over-hyped movie this year

What I loved most: film locations- breathtaking

What I really hated: everything else- breathless from laughing out loud

Here's the scoop about the movie- it is supposed to be set on 10,000 years, BC. That is where the flop heaps up. Inaccuracies. Dear Mr. Director, please make up your mind before deciding what to do with the movie. The "hero's" tribe spoke perfect English, while the other tribes spoke their native language. Wow, is english spoken back in those days?!? It might as well be an all-english spoken movie to bring back its credibility. The movie also has mixed up mythologies and realism. "I let you go, but don't kill me!" the hero said as he released the trapped sabre-tooth tiger. That became the pivotal point of the movie's downfall, it has ultimately become nonsensical. Laughter filled the theater at that moment, and it seems like the audience have lost their focus of this movie. So have i. A few more things before i end.... aren't people in those days supposed to be dirty and haggard? Well, not in this movie. Men have dreadlocks (I could have sworn i saw a Bob Marley lookalike!), and they have goatees- perfectly groomed goatees! And what the hell is a caucasian woman doing in the tribe!?! hahahaha!!! True, it was supposed to a blue-eyed saviour, but she looked too "caucasian" to be a tribeswoman. Finally, did they have french kisses in those days?! One might only wonder.... This movie is wrong, all wrong....

Nothing great to shout about

Love it or loathe it, i believe it is a subjective matter of your movie preference, but i personally feel this movie is nothing great to shout about......it's juz a chronicle of his journey to save the girl, and in the process, gather an army of tribesman to fight the "almighty" etc etc etc..........the mammoth was killed by him was a fluke, rather than by pure skills / courage, and becoming the "man who could speak to the "white tooth monster"? is also not very convincing..........i thought the war scences might be impressive enough to "save" this movie...but it disappointed me as well............2 thumbs down.....don't say you are not warned....i think even waiting for dvd is also not worth it....

An Unexpected Comedy

What I loved most: Punchlines and some strange characters

What I really hated: Plot ? What plot?

The movie is about the journey of a man who seeks to free the woman he loves who had been kidnapped by some bandits who many thought had supernatural powers and held the status of the gods. Along the way, he managed to gather supports from tribes who had becone victims to the bandits. As the story progresses and more characters are introduced, the converstaions and circumstances and the characters that appear makes the story an enjoyable comedy amidst the action.
